A Week In The Life

Happy New Year!! I'm slowly getting back into a routine after our Christmas break but today is a snow day for Miss High School so I'm getting a later start to my day.  I planned this "A Week In The Life" post in December and realized that I forget to document many of the things I do, I take fewer photos as the days go on and that my days can be pretty repetitive.  I hope you still enjoy it, I know I'll like looking back on it one day!

MONDAY:

Always start the day with coffee!

Heading out to the mailbox and seeing frost in the snow.

Finally finishing up our Disney tree in the basement with our newest ornaments from this trip. The Haunted Mansion singing busts are the best!

Getting a workout in.

Lunch was leftover chili with rice.

Addressing the Christmas cards.

Laundry=fun. NOT!

TUESDAY:

Making school lunch for Miss High School.

Watering the Christmas tree.

I've been trying to meditate every morning and I really like the Insight Timer app for it's variety of meditations.  It's free too!

I've been on an oatmeal kick lately-with lots of cinnamon and frozen berries.

Walking with the hubs.  It's hard to keep up, especially when trying to take a picture!

I noticed the confused forsythia was starting to bloom!  The extra mild temperatures really did a number on them.

Testing out a new backdrop in my studio space. Isn't my model lovely?

WEDNESDAY:

Starting to add events to my 2018 Happy Planner.  I have a customized cover from Miss H/S.

It's the most wonderful time of the year when Cyber Monday purchases start arriving!

I was craving this Copycat Asian "Chicken" Salad.

Hitting the thrift stores and finding nothing!

THURSDAY:

Look, I'm having oatmeal again (and trying to get rid of my bad cold).

I got to do an impromptu engagement photo shoot with these two cuties.

FRIDAY:

Oatmeal, AGAIN!

I volunteered at Miss H/S's last Mini-Thon. I can't believe it's been four years already!

Mr. Click and I went out for sushi after dropping Miss H/S off at callbacks for the spring musical.

Getting together with this great family is always fun!

SATURDAY:

 I think that's a tofu scramble, not oatmeal!

It's snowing!

But we still made it out to get Miss H/S's hair done!

After that we hunkered down and stayed in all night. We decided to make our annual Christmas Morning Cranberry Bread, a little bit of the batter escaped one of the tins.  Whoops!

And we're done! Ready to pack up the bread in the freezer for gift giving and Christmas morning.   Wine and Christmas movie time (Die Hard).
