{Get Crafty} DIY Spooky Pumpkin Diorama

I pinned this idea a year or two ago but the stores were out of the faux oval pumpkins.
I think I lucked out because now you can buy them pre-cut!  I used this tutorial from The Paper Mama to make mine (with free printable).
To give the scene a little height I put some florist foam in the bottom of the pumpkin. I had it in my craft supplies but you can find it in the craft store too.
The other supplies needed were battery operated tea lights (or other non flammable light source), craft moss, florist wire and a hot glue gun. I found the moss and tea lights at Dollar Tree and I had the wire and glue gun in my stash.
I printed out the spooky houses and bats, attached the bats to some wire and put in a stick tree too.  I carefully tried to glue the moss to the foam.
Ta da! Isn't it cute!?  The tea lights were kind of a bust, one didn't work and I think two would be best to light up your pumpkin.
I used one of my battery operated pumpkin lights and it really gives it a nice glow.  Happy Haunting!

Look at you Miss Crafty. Love how the pumpkin turned out. Oh I love it that you do a Chili cook off. Our Conner side of family has the annual Fall Party each year and Marty and I make the chili for everyone. Have a good day. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

You're so crafty! I love this and you give me ideas and inspiration for the month! We're having a Halloween party for the girls on 10-28 so I have to get my act together! BTW - I can't comment from my phone anymore but I am reading! After the "update" on Iphone it doesn't allow comments or I'm doing something wrong. Anyway, I'm here and I'm reading!!!

Are you back yet? It looked like an AMAZING time! I hope you had a memory making trip!!!
