{Shopping} Late Summer TJ's Haul

 It's been awhile since I did a TJ's haul and here's my most recent one.

Produce/Fridge/Spices:

Minced garlic- a staple for recipes

Sugar snap peas-TJ's are my favorite 

Shredded Carrots & Vegan Creamy Dill Dressing--staples for salads

Crunchy Chili Onion Sprinkle-*new*-just the like the oil but in sprinkle form

Refigerated Section:

Cacio E Pepe Ravioli-we've had these before and love them

Beefless Ground-I like to keep some in the freezer for recipes

Frozen Foods:

Buffalo Chicken-Less Wings-another *new* product that I'm excited to try

Falafel-I haven't bought these in awhile and they are good for a quick dinner

Vegetable Gyoza-another staple for a quick meal

Shelled Edamame-I add these to a lot of recipes

Garlic & Herb Pizza Dough-I like to keep one of these in the freezer

Roasted Corn-yep, another staple!

Kitty Products:

Freeze dried chicken pieces-I sprinkle these on Willow's wet food

Pantry Staples:

Marina Sauce-We haven't been making my Homemade Marina Sauce lately so it's good to have one or two jars in the pantry

Green Dragon Sauce-I haven't bought this in awhile and it's a good condiment for a little spicey heat

Blanched Almond Flour-I needed some almond flour and this is a good size bag for us

Almond Butter Granola-another *new* to me product. It's yummy!

Red Pepper Pesto-*New* to me and can't wait to try

Shells & Cheese-good to have in the pantry

Dark Chocolate Half Covered Rice Thins-I hadn't bought these in awhile and they are good to have for a sweet treat

Dairy:

Light String Cheese-this is a good one

Sharp Cheddar Cheese Snacks-convenient for snacking

Soy Milk-another staple

Classic Lemon Bars-we've been wanting to try these so we finally bought them

Non-Dairy Oat Creamer Brown Sugar-this sounded good to have on hand again for coffee and oatmeal

{Date Night} Sammy Hagar/Loverboy Concert

A few weeks ago we went to our first concert since we'd moved.   It was a beautiful night for an outdoor show.

I got Mr. Click the tickets for Christmas and that seemed so long ago! 

We shared one of the spicy watermelon margaritas.  I loved the cool, commemorative shaker that it came in.

Loverboy opened the concert and they played all of their hits (some I had forgotten) and a few new tunes.

Sammy always puts on an amazing show. He interacts with the fans so much and will sign anything people throw up on stage.

He never disappoints!

{Shopping} Latest Costco Finds

Did you catch our Main Bathroom Renovation post this week?  It's a good one!  But onto today's Costco Finds....

We needed some sheet sets for guests and these South Point sets were on sale.

I also got a queen set in this cute plant print.

We needed an additional table for entertaining outside, so we picked up this one. It should come in handy for indoor entertaining as well.

We've wanted some under cabinet lighting and tried out these 2 packs. We love them!  We have them set on motion activated.

We are also converts to this Kirkland Italian Sparkling Mineral Water.

I needed a watermelon for a photo shoot and plan on enjoying it later.

I tried the Organic Hard Boiled Eggs for the first time and they are great. The Kirkland Greek Yogurt is a staple and the Organic Salsa is a good buy (comes in a 2 pack).

I picked up the mini peppers for a salad and Baby Spinach is another staple for us for salads, sautées and soups.

I'm back on the Kale Salad train.

For frozen items, I picked up my favorite Salmon Burgers and we tried these new ice cream sandwiches as well (yummy!).

This was another new-to-us snack and they are delicious (but nowhere as large as they look on the packaging!).

I love anything that hydrates my face and this oil looked good, like it's name. It's got a light fragrance and has nice ingredients.

We needed some shampoo & conditioner for our guest bathroom and this brand looked good to us (plus a sneak peek of the guest bath!).

 

I also picked up these Hilary Radley Ladies' Pintuck Pull On Pants.  They are so comfortable, I even wore them on an airplane.  They are stretchy but look pulled together.

{The Abode} Renovating the Main Bathroom

I only gave a sneak peek of our main bathroom renovation back in this post from June.

It's about time I do the full reveal and give all of the details.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a great "Before" photo but this is one that I took during our home inspection.  It still had the seller's personal belongings as they were packing up but you can get the gist.

This was the day before demo of the other side of the bathroom.  It wasn't horrible, just dated and not our style.  It wasn't functional for us because there was a tub but no shower.  

Here are the tiles we picked out. The shower subway tile is Seaside Polished Ceramic and the floor tile is Ocean White Marble.   We really leaned into the coastal vibes. 

Demo begins!

This was a little scary! We had to change the window since we'd be showering and didn't want a frosted window.  Our contractor suggested this higher window waterproof window to allow lots of light in but provide privacy.

The tub was set and the tile boards were installed. It was starting to feel like it could be a bathroom again.

New drywall was installed where the old tile had been.  They also built us a new shelf area where we had previously had doors and a little cabinet.  We wanted open shelving.

The painter came in to patch the walls and we had to wait for it to dry in between coats.

Then it was finally tile time!    It took a few days to finish it and we were thrilled with the results!

The plumber came to install the toilet, vanity and shower fixtures.

The painter came back to paint the room. We chose the same color as the rest of the house, Benjamin Moore Simply White.  Then the electrician installed the new light fixture and we had the hooks and toilet, mirror and toilet paper holder installed.

We mixed metal by using black matte and gold finishes. The light fixture ties it all together.

We're obsessed with it all!

I love the new door as well.  We've added some accessories, like artwork and plants.

The shower glass was last to be installed but worth the wait.

We love it!

The open shelves are really deep and we have clear bins to corral our things. I didn't want to see what was in them and found these braided fabric baskets at Target to put in front of the clear bins and they give us even more storage!
