{Random} Friday Favorites

 It's Friday and here are some of the things I've been loving lately.

We were away last week in Orlando and before we left I planned my outfits with photos to help me remember the combos. It was helpful to see them all together like this in a collage.  Did I wear them all..you'll have to wait and see!

I planted flower seeds this year and the nasturtiums have taken off. Here they are in May...

....and now June. I have a few flowers already.  There is also a zinnia in there. I can't wait to see more flowers.

Speaking of flowers, my perennial pots really exploded while we were away!

Willow is enjoying her cat grass from City Girl #2.  She gave me some seeds and it grew quickly. Munch munch says Willow.

Speaking of munching...I made these Protein Reeses Cup Treats into bars. So much easier and I can control the size.  I didn't have enough rolled oats so I subbed in some crispy rice cereal and flaked coconut.  I also added PB Fit as some of the protein powder.    They are flexible!

I found these vintage chairs on FB Marketplace for CG #2 and she loved them when I sent her the listing.  We drove over an hour to get them but they were too good a deal to pass up!

Friday Favorites-Busy!

I guess we've been pretty busy lately.

We upgraded the shade on our ceiling fan to this fabric beauty.  It's a good way to update without having to replace the whole fan.

I had been searching for a more functional side table for the guest room and found this one on clearance at Ikea.  I've added a fabric bin to the bottom for more hidden storage since installing it.

I loved these limited edition Starbucks cup and new to me kombucha flavor.

This movie is fantastic. I didn't finish the book but now I want to go back and read it.

It's so fun seeing the bulbs that I planted in the fall.  We have flowers!

We've had some warmer days so I could wear a short sleeve shirt and my Willow bracelet on my wrist (from City Girl #2) ...and no wrist brace. Yay!

I sent this Connections screen shot to Mr. Click. Tell me you're married to a musician without telling me you're married to a musician.

This Easter tin makes me happy when I pull it out for Easter decorating. I think it's because the bunny reminds of City Girl #1 from one of her early Easters. 

I got some roses and stock at Trader Joe's and Willow took a chomp out of the rose petals. Good thing they are both cat safe.

We started helping City Girl #2 move into her new place. This was trip one of many!

Friday Favorites-Early Spring Edition

Run, don't walk to Dollar Tree! I found these wooden Ball jar lids!! I'm still looking for more. They fit on the regular mouth jars and look so cute. 

Spending time with CG #2 while she was home and taking lots of walks.

The Mirror

I was so excited to finally get this book off of the hold list at my library! It did not disappoint.   Now I have a long wait for the third book in the Lost Bride Trilogy. ::sigh::

I just finished this one and really liked it!
