{Travel} Chicago Day 4 - Architecture River Tour, Chicago Diner & Wrigley Field

We're wrapping up our Chicago recap, if you need to catch up start here.

I was sure going to miss this view!

We decided to walk to Navy Pier from our hotel after breakfast.

There were designated walking areas and tunnels under the streets to cross the busy highway.

I had to put my feet in Lake Michigan. It was COLD!

People were swimming and playing in the water and plenty of people were walking, biking and enjoying the sunshine.

Our destination was the Shoreline Architecture River Tour. We'd heard really good things about the tour.

We were excited to start the tour.

The tour was amazing and very interesting.

I wish I could tell you the names of all of the buildings and sites but I can't remember them all.

We had to stop for about 15 minutes when the Centennial Fountain was going off or we would have all been soaked.

It was such a beautiful day and perfect for being on the river.

There was a lot of new construction going on along the river so the tour will be changing as new buildings go up. I highly recommend this 75 minute tour.

After the boat tour we went to The Chicago Diner for lunch. City Girl had told us about this all vegan diner and we really wanted to try it. (It was about a 20 minute car ride from the pier). Miss High School and I shared this Peanut Butter Cup milkshake.
