{Recipe} Easiest Ever -2 Ingredient Fudge

 I don't even know if I can call this a recipe.  It's great to have in your back pocket if you ever need a quick, cheap and easy treat to share.

 It's another one of those "TikTok made me try" ideas.

All you need is one small jar (16 ounces or so) and 1 can of frosting. I used chocolate but vanilla works too.  This was meant to be a Dollar Tree recipe but my DT didn't have either ingredient.

Empty out each container into a microwave safe bowl, microwave for about 1 minute and stir together well. Pour into a parchment lined 8 x 8 pan.

Chill and then cut into pieces.  

 It stores best in a cool place and becomes soft at room temperature.

It makes a lot so you can gift some too!

Trader Joe's Haul-iday Haul

I had a huge shopping trip to TJ's last week. I was stocking up and preparing for festive get togethers too.

Snacks & Apps:

1)Reduced Guilt Lightly Salted Chips (yes, I see they are upside down in the photo!). They are a staple around here

2)Rosemary Stagliette Crackers-new to me and they are so tasty!

3)Some Mini Guacamole packs are good to have on hand

4) Along with some Tortilla Chips

We like to do an appetizer dinner one night over the holidays so I picked up some frozen treats that look interesting.

5-10) Tempura Cauliflower, Mac & Cheese Bites, Artichoke Timbales,  Crispy Vegetable Pouches & Scallion Pancakes

Produce:

11)Vegan Caesar is one of our faves

12) The Pears looked good to have on hand

13)Rosemary for cooking and garnishing

14) Green Beans-another staple 15) Cucumbers are too

16) Mandarins looked good 17) So did the Apples

18) I couldn't find the mixed cabbage I usually get so I tried the Organic Ready, Set Salad! 19) Mini potatoes are good to keep on hand too.

 Breakfast items:

20) Ginger Bread Oat Latte looked interesting...it's pretty good!

21) Tofu for scramble on Christmas morning and some 22)High Protein Super Firm Tofu for roasting

23) The Artisan Bagels and so good and will need some 24-25)Vegan and Whipped Cream Cheese

26) Hash browns for Christmas breakfast

27) Immunity Health Aid Kombucha--just because

28)Cinnamon Rolls for Christmas Morning

29)A new Coffee to try too!

Pantry Items:

30) Canned artichokes are good for making dips or roasting veggies

31) Almond butter is a staple

32) TJ's Ramen soups have become a fave of Mr Click's.

33) Dijon mustard--always good to have a back up

34) Some new festive Cat Treats

35) The Red Pepper Pesto is new to me 

36) Some Farfalle to make pasta chips in the air fryer (new recipe for me)

37) Chocolate Chips for baking

38) The olive wood bowls are so pretty and well made

39) Peppermints for a stocking stuffer

Misc:

40) Champagne & Wine (see next photo for closeup)

41) Dishwasher liquid--they haven't had this in a few years!

42) Turkey Burgers--Mr Click approved

43) Spanish Style Rice-So good!

44) Vegan Mint & Chip Bon Bons-also so good!

45) Tomato Paste in a tube!

{Travel} Vegas, Baby!

We took a quick trip to Las Vegas last month and it was so much fun!

This was my first time in Vegas so everything was new to me (like slot machines in the airport!).

We stayed at the lovely Elara Hilton Grand Vacations. It was a great location for us and we also liked that it wasn't a casino.  We were connected to the Miracle Mile shopping and restaurants which was nice too.

After checking in, we headed out for some dinner.  Our first stop was Cabo Wabo for some Waboritas and food.  We had a great view of the strip and could see the Bellagio light show from where we ate dinner.

We were pretty tired but took a little walk around the strip after dinner.  It's definitely sensory overload!  We tried to stay up as late as possible to get on Pacific time.

Of course we were up early.  What a view from our room!

Coffee with a view is even better.

We looked for a place to have breakfast along the way and chose Salt & Ivy in the Aria Resort & Casino.  I loved this avocado toast.

We were done breakfast and walking over to the Luxor before 10am.

We wanted to check out the King Tut Experience there.

We were early (of course) so we checked out the casino, walked around and picked up our tickets (once the ticket office opened).

It was a walk through exhibit and we did the audio tour as well.  We learned a lot!

After that we ubered over to old part of Vegas called Fremont Street. Mr. Click had to play one machine for his mom (took a picture for her too).

We walked around and it was pretty cool to see all of the old signage and buildings.

We went to Paris for lunch back on the strip.

We passed Vanderpump x Paris (only open for dinner)...

...and Martha Stewart's new restaurant Bedford (also only open for dinner).

We had a delicious lunch at Gordon Ramsay Burger. It was one of the best vegan burgers I've ever had!

Getting ready for our night out.  Yes, it was cold when we were there so tights, boots and sweaters were necessary.

This never gets old!

We had tickets to LOVE by Cirque du Soleil.

It was so amazing! I would go back to Vegas just to see that ten more times!!

We had dinner in the Venetian at Canaletto Ristorante. The minestrone and bruschetta were delish!

The next morning we were back at The Venetian.  It did remind us of our Italy trip! We had a hard time finding Truth & Tonic for our breakfast reservation and we saw way more of the hotel than we expected. Finally a nice security guard told us the tip for finding it!!  It's on a guest floor so you have to go through another security guard to get to those elevators. phew!

The breakfast tacos were yummy!

After breakfast we took a walk over to the Bellagio to check out the decor (can you tell we are not gamblers?).  This ceiling was stunning!

They were in the process of putting up the Christmas display that I'm sure is breathtaking.

We headed back to Paris and Mon Ami Gabi Bistro for a little snack and champagne. Mais oui!    It was so nice to sit out in the sunshine and people watch.

We wanted to see another show and chose Blue Man Group. It was...different for sure!

I was most excited about Crossroads Kitchen in Resorts World Casino.  We had a late dinner reservation and ubered over after the show.

I wanted to try everything on the menu (sigh)!  Everything that we ordered was amazing!!

It was the perfect way to end our little trip to Vegas.

{Photography} Engagement Photo Shoot

 I got to photograph the sweetest couple for their engagement shoot.

The groom-to-be's mom gifted them with the session.

We had the most beautiful fall day at a local park for shooting this adorable couple.

It was such a fun shoot because they were up for anything I suggested.   They had some great ideas as well.

The bride-to-be told me that they were both book and video game lovers so we made sure to incorporate some of that into their session.

They brought the props and I brought my camera!

I kept calling them "most likely to cuddle" because they were so cute together.  What a special shoot for me!
