{Travel} Riviera Maya, Mexico - Days 4 & 5

 I'm wrapping up our Mexico trip even though I don't want it to end.  You can catch up HERE if you missed any of it.

The resort had a few resident cats that I had to make friends with of course.

I saw this adorable one on the way to yoga.

This is where I got to take yoga every morning. sigh.

Outfit of the day for breakfast.  Housekeeping left us this cute heart and flower on the bed.

We saw so many iguanas walking around the resort.  I did not make friends with them and kept my distance and said "hello".

Our last full day was a pool day.

We tried a different pool and it was so quiet and peaceful.

We also spotted Frida the resident crocodile over a wall. She was sunning herself all day.

We took a pizza making class.

We had dinner at Santa Fe Grill.

It was our favorite meal!

We had this sign on our door the next morning.

Poolside coffee and breakfast on our last day.

Meeting another cute cat. It looks like kitty has no eyes but they were closed.  That's how relaxed they are!

We had this very White Lotus moment here (people walking to the massage tree house).

We took a long walk around the resort before we headed to the airport.

On the way home.  It was such a great trip, thanks for coming along!

{Travel} Riviera Maya Trip - Day 3

 I'm back with our Riviera Maya trip recap. To catch up, click on Day 1 and Day 2.

The view from our balcony never got old!

We walked over to meet up with the bike tour and passed a few of these HOLA sand hearts along the way.

We were early of course so we hung out in a cabana with our coffee.

Time for the tour!

The bike tour was a lot of fun and pretty rigorous. We stopped a few times and one stop was the sea turtle egg laying refuge that the resort has set up.

Our tour guides also took us WAY up to the roof of one of the hotel restaurants. 

The views were stunning all around!  We rode through the jungle and saw an old resort that is no longer open. It was all so cool!

They were so fun!

And very tasty!

Another day of this....I don't ever want to leave.

Trader Joe's & Aldi Fall Finds

 This is a mostly Aldi Fall Haul--I haven't done one of them in awhile and I've been finding so many good things there!

These Coconut Cashew Crisps have just the right amount of pumpkin spice. They are a sweet treat with a cup of tea or coffee.

I haven't tried this yet but I'm looking forward to it.

Yum!! This is tasty and I'm here for the Holiday Cheers!

These were new to us and we're excited to try them.

I think this was a summer treat but I've been still been finding them at my Aldi. There was a chocolate cookie one as well so look out for it. Both are delicious!

A fall favorite! They have a few flavors but this is my favorite with apples, even carrots. Don't knock it 'til you try it!

I've tried the vegan mozzarella shreds so I gave the slices a try. They are pretty good and a convenient portion size.

I love that these spice pastes are shelf stable so I can keep back ups in the pantry.

I usually always pick up a seasonal candle or two at Aldi. The price cannot be beat!

I'm still on an Earl Grey kick so I'm giving this brand a try too.

Now to Trader Joe's, it was just a quick trip so I didn't get much.

These are amazing if you like croutons but they can be a little too hard on the teeth.   They are flaky just like a croissant but still crunchy and the flavors are perfect. 

I couldn't resist some Halloween Jo-Jo's.

An oldie, but goodie! I haven't gotten these crackers in awhile and they are still great. Thin, salty and crispy..great for dipping or spreads!
