{Photography} Prom Time

Prom season has come and gone around here but the (photo) memories will last forever.

 I can't pass up a boutonniére shot.

 I was lucky enough to take my niece's pre-prom photos.

 Gorgeous girl and location.

 I always have to get those flower shots!

 Who doesn't love a casual gazebo shot?

It was fun (and not as stressful) to take someone else's kid's prom photos.  Do you remember your prom?

Scenes from Prom #2 (2018)

In my last Four on Friday post I gave you a little sneak peek of Miss High School's second and final prom but today I'm giving you all of the details.

At the salon...

The shoes...we searched high and low for these!

The flowers and nails (those are KISS artificial nails all from the same pack-pastel, metallic and glitter!).

She wanted sunflowers with pops of green.

She definitely had a vision for her look after we found this amazing Monique Lhuillier ball gown (for 75% off!).  Look, it has pockets!

The velvet choker was a last minute switch and it really made the whole outfit come together.

The weather wasn't great but at least it had stopped raining for photos.  I love seeing all of the dress choices.

This one reminds me of a painting.

And she's off!!  Do you remember your prom?

Four On Friday

We made it to FRIDAY!  Here's what I've been...

1.) Loving...my lilacs. I've cut so many bouquets of them for the house.  This was right before they started blooming.

 2. Being silly about...our last prom.  We did go to prom together and Friday was our daughter's last prom.

 3.Editing...prom photos!   I'm having fun with this batch.

 4. Celebrating...a birthday with friends.  Wine is appropriate!

This feels like it was so long ago but really just about two weeks have gone by.

Getting this glam doesn't just happen...

 There's a lot of planning and of course buying the dress then picking out accessories.

 Going to the salon...

 Getting primped and...

 Finding the perfect shoes...

 Finally getting ready...

 Oh yeah, and the handsome date!
