April's Daily Goodie Box

[Disclaimer: I was given a Daily Goodie Box to review but all opinions are mine.]
I can't believe it's already time for another Daily Goodie Box! I'm always excited to see the DGB in my mailbox. This month's offerings did not disappoint.  Let's see what's inside.

Good Karma - Dairy Free Flaxmilk
https://goodkarmafoods.com/buy-flaxmilk/vanilla-lightly-sweetened-flaxmilk-protein-10-oz/
I had been wanting to try Good Karma Flaxmilk but had only seen it in the larger cartons at my store. These single serving bottles make it easy to try them and take them with you on the go.  Each 10 ounce bottle has 10 grams of protein, 1500mg Omega-3 and contains no dairy, nuts or soy.

Prince & Spring - Fruitmojis
How cute are these gummy Fruitmoji Snacks?  They are shaped liked your favorite emojis and contain no artificial colors, synthetic flavors or high fructose corn syrup.  They're also certified gluten free.  The little packets make it easy to portion control your sweet snacks.

RawRev - Chunky Peanut Butter Chocolate
https://rawrev.com/collections/organic/products/chunky-peanut-butter-chocolate-2
This bar was voted #1 in Consumer Reports for it's amazing peanutty taste and nutrition profile.  I love the combo of peanut butter and chocolate and that it's vegan, organic, gluten free, non GMO and Kosher!
Flathau’s Fine Foods - Cinnamon Snaps
https://flathausfinefoods.com/collections/gourmet-cookies/products/cinnamon-cookies
These shortbread snaps are always tasty. The cinnamon flavor is light and sweet with just the right amount of spice.

I love the idea of this one dose Allergy Relief liquid.  No pills, powder or measuring. Just twist and drink for powerful, effective allergy relief.
Goodwipes - Down There Wipes For Gals
https://goodwipes.com/collections
These convenient wipes are perfect for when you're out and about the bathroom facilities are less than ideal.  Great for the purse or backpack!
Real Chemistry - Fresh-Start Foaming Cleanser
You only need a dime sized amount of this natural grapefruit scented cleanser to get a foamy fresh lather. It removes makeup, impurities and excess oil but is gentle enough to use around the sensitive eye area.
Foods Alive - Himalayan Pink Salt
Himalayan Pink Salt is the purest and most beneficial form of salt crystals in the world. It's easy to see why it's become so popular.   According the Foods Alive website, "Himalayan Salt has a precise mesh with our body's inner workings because it contains an almost identical set of elements to those found inside the human body, 84 of the possible 92 trace minerals, in the same proportion as naturally exists in our blood."   The pink color comes from the trace elements in the salt, including iron.

Fourth & Heart - Madagascar Vanilla Bean Ghee Butter
Fourth & Heart uses sun dried beans that are 100% organic fair trade certified in their Madagascar Vanilla Bean Ghee Butter. Check out their website for lots of great recipe ideas.

Loaf Slime - Lavender Aromatherapy Dough
https://www.etsy.com/shop/loafslime
This is my first experience with slime and didn't even know there was aromatherapy slime. The light lilac scent is very pleasant and the slime is just so fun to play with!

That's it for this month's Daily Goodie Box.  You can get yours by signing up here.  No credit card information is needed!

{Link Party} TBB Asks- All Things Spring

It's another TBB Asks Link Party where they ask the questions and we supply the answers.  This month is all about Spring!

1)What 3 colors remind you most of Spring? Yellow, purple and green.  Because they are the first signs of spring in the garden and yard.
2)What is the first thing you add to your wardrobe in Spring? My Birkenstocks!  I cannot wait to break those babies out (I did this weekend, even though it was a bit chilly!).
3)What is the first wardrobe item you ditch in Spring? My winter coat!
4) Who mows the grass where you live? Mr. Click and he insists on doing it!
5) What's Spring like where you live? Usually warmer by now (we had snow yesterday).
6) What's your favorite thing about Spring? Lilacs, I can't wait!!
7) Are you a Spring cleaner? I'm more of a Spring organizer.
8) Are you a baseball fan? Not on tv, but I love going to a live game.
9) Tulips or Daffodils? I love them both but I'll go with tulips.
10) Favorite outdoor Spring activity?  Going for walks in the park.
11) Flowers in the ground or pots? I do both but I'd love my garden to be so bountiful that I didn't need potted flowers.

12) Favorite bird? Robins because they signal spring time.

13) Car wash or wash vehicle at home? Car wash...I love the car wash!

14) When do you pull out your sandals? ASAP! See question #2 above.
You can join in the fun and link up here.

{Recipe} Marinated Chopped Salad-Oil Free

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone who celebrated Passover and Easter had good ones.  We're on Spring Break this week so my schedule is off but I plan on being around.  This is a quick marinated salad that I've been keeping in Mason jars in my fridge. It gets better with time. I've been having it as a side dish or mixed in with fresh salad. So good!
 Ingredients:
1 English cucumber, peeled and diced
1-2 cups grape tomatoes, cut in half
1-2 red or yellow bell peppers, diced
1 small red onion, diced
1 can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
juice of 1/2 lemon
salt & pepper
1 tsp Italian seasoning
To make:
  1. Add all chopped veggies and beans to a large bowl. Stir gently to combine.
  2. Add balsamic vinegar, start with 1/4 cup and add more if needed.  Squeeze the juice of 1/2 lemon over the bowl.
  3. Add 1 tsp of Italian seasoning add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Stir and taste, adjust seasonings if necessary. Let sit for about an hour, stirring occasionally.
  5. Store in large Mason jars or airtight containers in the fridge.
  6. This can last up to a week.
