Spring break came and went in the blink of an eye.
We did have one day when both of my girls were home and available and it was gorgeous and sunny out so we took advantage of it and headed to New Hope, PA.
Spring was just hitting the quaint streets of New Hope and a few of the trees were blooming.
A trip to New Hope wouldn't be complete without crossing the bridge over to Lambertville, New Jersey.
A shot of the bridge from the New Hope side. Here's what you'll see if you're crossing the bridge in a car from the New Jersey side.
Iced coffees were a must.
The historic play house.
Shops and more shops.
The canal looked a little brown on this day and the trees weren't green yet.
Some information about the canal in mural form.
I love the stonework on this house.
Another historic spot (Canon Square). The town is full of history and it's a great place to visit. The shopping is fantastic and the restaurant scene is booming.
Our day didn't end there, we also hit up Cost Plus World Market and the mall for more shopping. We finished up our day with dinner at Bertuccis. I think we packed a full week of activities into one day!
Let's Keep In Touch!

I'm so glad you took us so long on this trip! It looks like such a fun and beautiful area to explore with your girls! I'm so glad you got a chance to do that with the both of them! Those days are so special!
So fun!
A very pretty town. Thank you. The house towards the bottom looks as if it's part in a valley. Watermills often look like that here.
Looks a fun girl's trip at that! And I would give a pretty penny for an iced coffee right now! YUM! I haven't had one in forever. How far is this from Hersey Pa? My oldest daughter said yesterday she would love to go there. Wonderful pictures. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
This looks like a great adventure. Spending time with your girls makes it extra, extra special.
