My lilac trees are in full bloom right now and I couldn't be happier.
I've been cutting flowers and making bouquets to enjoy their beauty and fragrance indoors.
They've also been the subject of my Project 365 a few days this week.
I know they won't last long so I want to remember them.
I snapped this one with my Iphone (edited in PS).
I found some informative tips to prolong the life of cut lilac blooms here and I need to try some of them.

Our lilacs should burst open next week. Our forecast is in the 70's all week. That will move things along real quick.
Our daffodils are in full bloom right now. Beautiful happy yellow smiling at me when I look out in the garden.
Beautiful! I love the smell of them, they are so beautiful and fragrant. My neighbors left me a huge bucket full after the birth of my 1st and they have been my favorite ever since!

I love lilacs! I've tried, unsuccessfully, to start a piece off my parents bush twice. Maybe third time is the charm! My azaleas are in bloom right now and are just gorgeous! Peonies aren't quite they're yet and I always have my hydrangea to look forward to :)

I saw the lilacs when I was in Canada. I was so happy to see them, after the cold winter.
Your lilacs are gorgeous. Ours have long bloomed now. I think they are such pretty flowers but I could never bring in a bouquet due to allergies.
Your lilacs are beautiful. We don't have them here. I guess it's too hot for them, but we had them in NJ when I was growing up. My sister was terribly allergic to lilacs and her eyes would swell shut. Of course, I would innocently pick a bouquet for my mother. I knew exactly what I was doing!
Gorgeous. I wish lilacs were growing in our garden. The Mama's roses are in bloom at the moment.
