This shot is SOOC, I just cropped the sides a little. I was shooting into the setting (and blinding) sun and I wasn't sure how it would turn out.

i think the lighting is great in this photo. the only thing i would do different is to eliminate the cars on the right, i would have taken a couple steps to my right and completely left them out of the frame. they take a little away from the moment you've captured here. other than that, i love it! ;o)
Thanks Elvira, I actually left the cars in because I like how the light is reflecting off of them...I was debating if I should take more of them out because of the distraction or keep some of them where the light was sparkling.

Actually, I like the inclusion of the cars for the same reasons you do, plus I think it helps to ground your subjects.

Your photo is really sweet. I like how the cars look -- it tells part of the story, and breaks the picture plane. Moving to the right, might also have gotten you a great photo, though!
I like how it turned out. A daddy-daughter moment captured perfectly. It is real and raw. Great job, IMHO.

The lighting cast a really nice effect on the photo. My favorite thing is the composition and seeing the walkers in the act of walking...flip flops and sole of the shoe. The shadows really lead you into the photo. Nice job!
