Instagram-Printsgram

The program I used to make this collage is called Printsgram (not to be confused with PrintsTAgram).

I've been using it for my Photo-A-Day composites. Check them out here, here and here.

All you have to do is log on to your Instagram account from the Printsgram site and you have access to all of your Instagram photos. You pick a product(basically different sized posters or photo cubes) and create your masterpiece. You can order a copy or print one out yourself from a pdf file they generate for you.

I did this one for Teen 2's birthday board. I decorate the board seasonally and for the holidays or in this case, for the birthday person's birthday month.

Since we are both born in October, she usually shares it with me so I decided to make it all about her for her big one three.

She loves it and so do I! It made decorating the board so easy.

{Pinned} Mini Caramel "Apples"

These were so easy and delicious at our Avengers party!

I made a whole tray of them and they were gone in a snap!

I found the idea on Pinterest (where else?). Here's my pin.

There's not much of a recipe. Wash and dry green grapes then stick a toothpick or lollipop stick in the each grape. Melt caramels and thin with a little heavy cream ( I used half and half). Dip the grapes in the melted caramel then dip again in chopped salted peanuts. Place onto wax paper lined tray and refrigerate until set.

They really do taste like caramel apples in a bite-sized treat.

{Entertaining} Avengers Party

An Avengers theme isn't the first thing that came to mind while planning my daughter's 13th birthday family party but that's what she wanted.

She ~~cooked up the idea~~ worked it out with a few of her cousins at an earlier party.

They all had become superfans over the summer after Grandma took a bunch of them to see it.

I used red, white and two blues as our super hero color scheme. I wanted to try this idea that I had seen on Pinterest (where else?) to combine balloons and streamers. It made a nice photo back drop and was very easy to do.
