1)Self Tanner
I'm normally as pale as can be but I like a little 'safe' color in the summer. This L'Oreal Sublime Bronze tinted self tanning lotion is giving me a warm glow and even a little shimmer.
2)Garlic Infused Olive Oil
Yum!! I bought this for a recipe that I haven't tried yet but we're using it for everything from roasting and sauteing vegetables to bread dipping oil.
3)Montreal!!
Our trip this month was definitely a highlight of our month (and year!)

4)Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred
OK, love might be too strong a word for this one but respect might be more like it. I'm on my second round of this workout series and it seriously kicks my butt. I seem to have less time to work out in the summer and these workouts are quick and to the point but CHALLENGING!
5)True Blood
Sooo good this season!
6)Lazy Days
Time to try some things from my summer to-do list....
Like teaching my kids a new card game.
(Spite & Malice)
or learning to crochet.

Hi Heather!
Lovely post and thanks for the tip about the bronzer. I have a shop on Cape Cod and we are within our busy season...I need some color because apparently, I can't seem to get to the beach. Also, I LOVE the Christmas Tree Shops! I've gotten some great party things there and get things I can make things with! I am glad you enjoyed July. Have a great August, Karen
Ahhh we love 30day shred in our house too! Quick and to the point :) I know what I've NOT enjoyed for the month of July...mosquitos! Ha, they are everywhere around here and we can't get rid of them!!!
So fun to find you from Tuesday Tag Along. I am your newest follower.
I loved this post. What I loved in July - my baby girl turning 1, a trip home to see my mom, fresh blueberries, lots of swimming with my girls.
Have a great day!
Tracy
@Karen..lucky you living in the Cape and near the Christmas Tree Shoppes too!
@Marissa..we haven't had much problem with skeeters this season. Not sure why??But I'm not complaining!
@Tracy..aww happy b'day to your baby girl. What a nice July you had too!
I love getting new ideas as I begin this blogging experience. Your month in review is a keeper!
So the bronzer really works. You don't get orangey. I've been using Jergen's, but I would like to step it up just a bit....as I am pale as well.
Basil. I've been loving my basil this July. It's growing great and I've made some yummy pesto.
Great story about that tanner. My hubs decided to quietly try it one day. We were out for lunch and sun was shinning through the window and his hairy legs were sparkling! We laughed until we were blue and it was one of the funniest memories we share in 37 years of marriage! So, I love it too.
I love all the flowers and green. We are white and cold through a long winter!
Thanks for a fun post
You know, I have those same porcelain carpet balls tucked in a white bird cage in our room. Those are so cute.
Great post. I love True Blood and we have a Christmas Tree shop near us too! You can never go in and come out with one thing!
Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm your new follower!

@gnee..that story is too funny about the hubs and his 'sparkly' legs!
@Sunny I love the idea of putting them in a birdcage, I haven't quite decided what to do with the ones I bought.
Great blog post. Thanks for sharing. You can't be from Washington without LOVING the change in weather in July. We go from dreary, cold in June to undeniably warm and sunny in July. beth at http://anothersummeroffun.blogspot.com

Ron
Jillian kicked my butt too! I wanted to re-start up again now that I've gained a few from summer BBQ's and such.. but I can't find my dvd! Grr..
True Blood is getting good too huh? Have you read the books? I thought they were going to stick with each season/a book but this season they've put 4 or so books into it. Weird. :)
