On a recent thrift store shopping trip I found this soup tureen set. 
I really like it just sitting on my server in the dining room most of the time but when I got some gorgeous hydrangeas for Mother's Day, I thought of another use for it.
Ta da! A centerpiece (with a few of my white lilacs) is born! I used a drinking glass nestled inside the tureen to keep the flowers close together.

Very cute! I was hoping to find a nice soup tureen today too on my hunt, but none were to be found! Yours is lovely! And a great size to use so many different ways! Pretty Hydrangeas!
