{Thrifting} What I Thrifted in September

I only did a little bit of thrifting in September.
I found one clothing item, this velvet Madewell t-shirt that I thought would make a good transition piece into fall.
I found this interesting shaped cutting board that I've displayed in my kitchen. On the same trip I picked up another melamine piece for outdoor entertaining. It's from Sur La Table so...ooh lala!
We went to a community market and found a few pieces for City Girl #2.  I sent her this photo of a wooden whale.
We also spotted this whale house at the same vendor and she loved both of them.
I found a few things at Goodwill... a brand new bike helmet, Buddha statue for my garden, a hand towel and a new puzzle.
I didn't buy this but sent it my daughters for a laugh.
I made Buddha had a safe trip home.

Have you thrifted anything lately?

Heather it looks like you found some nice items thrifting. I like the T-shirt, the melamine piece, and the buddha. It's great that you have different places to do thrift shopping.

Oh, I love that Buddha statue! I was thinking of going out to thrift a bit today. I will be looking for books, mostly, but also maybe Christmas stuff.

Haha...love your Budda all strapped in and that cat grandma tee. I need to send that pic to my daughter. I swear I buy almost as much for that cat as I do for my daughter!

I love thrift stores, but I haven't found any new treasures lately. Your Buddha in the car made me smile : ))

Gotta keep Buddha safe! You found some good items. Sometimes when I find extra "unique" items in thrift shops, I will take a picture and send to someone. The whale items are unique and cool! I like the velvet top- perfect for fall!

I love that velvet top! I remember having a top (and I think even a t-shirt dress) like that when I was in high school and I loved them... mostly because I am a sucker for velvet. You found lots of great items on your adventures.

@ Nicole I'm glad it made you smile! :) I have dry spells with thrifting too but sometimes I hit the jackpot. You just never know!

@Maria Thank you! I do the same with extra "unique" items. I'm excited to wear the new velvet top.
