{Travel} Orlando Trip - Part 4 EPCOT & Magic Kingdom

This was Day 2 in the parks and we were up bright and early again for early entry.

OOTD
We checked out breakfast at The Drury and I tried a little of everything.  Not bad for an included breakfast. There were Mickey waffles too!
We got to EPCOT for rope drop and it felt so empty.
We walked over to Test Track but it was down so we headed to Frozen but that was also down. womp womp!  It was so nice walking through World Showcase while it was empty so we kept walking.
We made it to Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and the line was quite long. We got in the single rider line and as soon as the ride opened, we got on it. It was so fun! It was our first time and we loved it!
I grabbed a Perrier at the crepe kiosk. It's the only place that carries sparkling water (that I've found) in EPCOT.
We went on Soarin' (again!), Figment and then Test Track (also newly redesigned). We were ready for a Mickey pretzel after that.    We went on the Nemo ride and then took the Monrail to Magic Kingdom.
We pre-ordered lunch on the MyDisney app from Pecos Bills Tall Tale Inn.  We split a chicken and rice bowl and kids' cheeseburger meal.
We had reservations later at the new pirate themed lounge - The Beak & Barrel.
It's designed like a pirate tavern.
The theming is really good!

They serve "seaworthy sips and snacks for all ages".
We ordered the Hibiscus Rum Punch and a Salty Seas MARRRgarita.  We also sampled the Island Provisions which had a variety of chips and dips.   We went on some rides and then took the monorail to The Contemporary.
Where we enjoyed a break and a glass of wine in the Outer Rim bar.  We ubered back to the hotel for a nap and then we were back on our way to Magic Kingdom that night.

We got stuck in a downpour but had our trusty ponchos.

It stopped raining as we were walking through Magic Kingdom. We rode The Carousel of Progress...we had to go on one more time before they update it.
The sky was incredible after the rain.  We rode It's a Small World...
...and enjoyed the Magic Kingdom vibes.
We headed over to the Polynesian for a late dinner (9pm..who are we?!)
The Kona Cafe never disappoints. It was another amazing Disney day!Pin It

You are really doing Disney right! Good breakfast - we stayed for the first time at a Drury in Columbus, Ohio on our way to Kentucky - and loved it. The happy hour drinks and food were great and the breakfast, too. Hope to visit one again. Love all your ears !!!

That sounds like another really wonderful day. Disney does such an incredible job on their themeing so I am not surprised that the pirate lounge was so well themed out. This series is really making me wish we had booked that fall trip to WDW we had been toying with...

This looks and sounds like so much fun! One of the best times we ever had at a park was pouring rain at Fiesta Texas. Smaller crowds, shorter lines, everyone cooled off!
