{Field Trip} Day At The Museum aka The Academy of Natural Sciences

We had another weekend with not much on the to-do list so we ventured out to see another museum.

We hadn't been to the Academy of Natural Sciences in quite awhile but it's a lot like we remembered it.

The dinosaurs greet you as you walk in.

It's always fun exploring!

We walked around town for a bit and saw some of the trees were starting to flower.

It was still pretty chilly on this day in March. That's Amor!

We stopped for a coffee break to fuel up for our walk to lunch.

Speaking of lunch, the person who set up this little table in Rittenhouse Square is a genius.

We went to lunch at our favorite place, Bar Bombon. It never disappoints!

Trader Joe's Finds & Aldi Home Goods

 Look-y here, another TJ's post. I just love 'em!

We picked up a few things in Boston when visiting College Girl.  The Organic Riced Cauliflower was from a previous haul but the bag is now compostable. Cool! The Teeny-Tiny Avocados are the perfect size for me.

This Dry Rosé Wine Rose Water sounded refreshing and it is! I also had never tried the Mango/Orange Spindrift. I split the pack with my daughter. I love their candles, especially for traveling.

I got the freeze dried strawberries for a recipe.  The pasta looks like a fun shape!

The only thing "new" in this photo are the Crispy Jalapeño Pieces. They are so good! I've been sprinkling them on salads, burgers, pasta...they are good right out of the can!

I'm excited to try these!

I had been looking for this new dip and finally snagged one. It is cauliflower based so it's fairly healthy and it is so good!

I found this Anthropologie Volcano dupe at ALDI!

I picked up the grapefruit candle as well but if you want the Anthro dupe the scent is Paradise Cliff--for a fraction of the cost!

Aldi has beautiful cards..they are only .99c and huge!

I love this cute Aldi mug, it was my favorite for a few weeks, until I broke it. :(

I also picked up this cute wooden bead garland.

Quick Spring Break

College Girl flew home for Spring Break last month and it flew by! 

 We got pedicures and I was happy to see the mini daffodils blooming.

We had lunch with my beautiful mom.

We went out to breakfast at a favorite spot and Mr. Click checked out this fun chair while we were waiting for our food.

She got me into this show and we watched it every night. So good!

We checked out a local cat themed brewery.

The theming was so cute.

The kitty on the coaster looks like my Willow.

We went to the beach one day.  It was warm at home but much chillier there!

We had lunch but also stopped for coffee at a favorite spot.  I tried a chai latte. yum!

The beach is always a good idea!

Before we knew it, we had to drive her to the airport for her flight home. We stopped at Green Eggs Cafe in Philly for brunch.  I got the avocado toast that looked more like a sandwich.  It's hard to believe that was her last spring break. We've got a soon to be graduate on our hands!

Latest Costco Haul & Random Spring Things

 Happy Friday! I hope you are having a great week.  This is a pretty random post starting out with our latest Costco Haul.

We picked up lots of bev-rah-jez (drinks!) and some tofu. I was so excited to see the tofu in our local Costco. It was a first!  I was also excited about the pineapple Spindrift (I know it's upside down in the photo..oops!)  College Girl got me into the Health-Ade Kombucha and I'm really enjoying all of the flavors.

Then I just picked up a bunch of produce and some oats.

I found this Spring Day blend at the supermarket and it was so yummy!

A little strange, I'll admit. It wasn't my favorite but not awful.

A new spring wreath from Target.

A week of meal/food prep,I missed the sweet potatoes on the end in my labeling.

I'm trying my hand at Reels on Instagram. This was from a sweet baby session that I did.
