Trader Joe's Fall Finds

 Another TJ's post for ya! Here's what I spotted on the shelves recently.

You can buy this kombucha elsewhere but I had to pick one up when I saw it at TJ's.

A staple in our house for Mr. Click and family.

I've been topping my oatmeal with this coconut creamer. 

The Mediterranean Style Hummus is always smooth and tasty. This is the first time we've tried this salsa, it's a great staple to have on hand!

Waxed cotton food bags in cute paterns.

This linen apron is so classic and sharp.

The Shea Butter & Coconut Oil Hair Mask looks very hydrating.

Dry shampoo!

Kitchen towels in new fabrics.

I may have shown this before but I'm so happy it's back!

How yummy does this look...and it's gluten free!

I've never noticed the cough drops before. They came in 2 flavors.

Cheesy Seasoning Blend sounds like it would be great on popcorn, veggies and pasta...just like the label says.

Oh my goodness do these sound amazing!

The perfect fall blend..comes in K-cups too.

For a quick spaghetti squash meal!

Mmmm warm spiced cider sounds so good right now.

I've heard good things about this chili!

The pumpkin spice hummus is also very popular.

I decided to pick up some of the pico de gallo for a change.

Then of course I'll need some Pumpkin Tortilla Chips for all of the dips.

As we were checking out I spotted these Crunch Dried Honeycrisp Apples.. these would be great in a salad or just as a snack.

{Photography} Half Way To First Photo Shoot

 Oh boy.  Look at this cutie!

His parents wanted to do a "1/2 Way To First" photoshoot and I was more than happy to oblige.

They brought the banner, Cracker Jack and a few other props.

But seriously...the main attraction is this guy!

What more do you need?

He was such a trooper and definitely an all star!

{The Abode} Living Room Gallery Wall

 

This is another project that I don't know what took us so long to complete it. I've been wanting to add a gallery wall of photos to this room forever!  After we had the wood floors installed I felt it was time to finally make it happen.  It took us a few hours and was not as challenging as I thought it would be.

We got the Ribba frames from Ikea and ordered the prints from my photo lab White House Custom Color.  We needed a few tools to get started: level, hammer, painter's tape, ruler, tape measure, calculator and a small screwdriver for opening the frames.

We figured out where we wanted the gallery wall to fit on the wall and made a center line down the middle with painter's tap.  We also arranged the photos on the floor to see what kind of spacing we wanted between the photos.

I think he's making sure our center line is level.

We did some calculations and put painter's tape where we wanted the next rows of photos to go.   We tested out the next row down.

*One tip is to also measure the frames because they can be off a little from what is on the packaging.*  We figured out where the frame would  hang from on the back and used that measurement to add our picture hanging nails to the wall right through the painter's tape.

These were the nails we used.

After we had all the nails in, we hung the frames to make sure we liked the spacing.

Then we took them all down and added the photos before hanging them up on the wall.  We arranged them how we thought they looked best to our eyes.  It was so hard to narrow it down to nine photos but we can always change out the photos or add more later.

We are thrilled with how it turned out and how it ties the room together now. You can see our Staircase Gallery Wall here.

Costco Faves & Finds

It feels like I just did a Costco post but it was back in July so it's time for a new one!  This is from a few trips we made to the store.

I was excited to see Pendelton brand sheets. I only saw twin size but they'd be so cute in a kids' room.

They were next to my beloved fleece Pendelton blanket that I got last year and I'm still loving it.

Obviously Nessa approves as well!

I was also excited to see the Starbucks Holiday Blend K-cups. I know it's early but I had to stock up.

I hadn't seen Zevia here before and it's a good deal if you like this soda.

Julie recommended this oat milk and we bought some for College Girl when we were in Boston. I took 2 home with me to try and I like it a lot.

These Idaho Spuds were also new to me.   We split them with College Girl.

They are cute cartons of dried hash brown potatoes, just add hot water and let sit for 12 minutes. You can eat them like that or cook as you would frozen hash browns.

This looked good but I didn't get it.   Maybe next time.

I needed some new body wash and this Kirkland brand looked intriguing. I used the Google Lens app to see the reviews on it and they were good.   I love it..very light citrus scent and it has a nice bubbly foam.

I've wanted to try Lumify eye drops and didn't know if the 2-pack was a good deal. I used Google Lens again and found out that it was a great deal. They are pretty amazing for making your eyes look bright and refreshed.

I love their holiday ribbon. The spools are huge and the ribbon is great quality.

I didn't expect to like Dawn Powerwash as much as I do. The whole family loves the spray bottle and it really works.

Holiday stamps are already available and no waiting at the post office!

I think this Puma pack of sports bras was another Julie recommendation.  

I got a 2-pack of grey and black.

I picked up a 4-pack of mums and they really spruce up the front porch!

These blackberries were amazing!

We picked up two cabernets that were well reviewed on the Costco Wine Blog.

I snapped photos of their descriptions.

We've only tried the Daou so far and really enjoyed it.

Speaking of wine...the wine advent-ure calendar is here for 2021. We had a lot of fun with it last year so I'm glad snagged one! Have you done any Costco shopping lately?
