{Travel} Long Weekend in Boston

We had a fun weekend trip to Boston to visit  College Girl.

 It was fall and the leaves were changing.  We picked up City Girl and headed into Boston.

 Walking around Quincy Market at night is so cool!

 The next morning was gorgeous.

 Grabbing a quick breakfast at Pavement.

 Mr. Click had a meeting and College Girl had a co-op interview so City Girl and I got to explore the city.

 It was the perfect day for sightseeing.

We met up with College Girl after her interview and went out for a late lunch. (Sidenote: she got the JOB!)

 It's always fun to go to one of their hockey games.

Birthday Weekend

My birthday was back in October but I'm just getting around to posting about it.

 We started the weekend with happy hour at a very cool bar with some friends. It's tucked behind  this building and was a really cool discovery!

 We had beautiful weather the next day and went hiking along the canal.

 We stopped at the farmer's market and I got these beautiful flowers (along with some nice produce).

Cards and presents (new yoga mat!).  We went for a late lunch at one of our favorite restaurants and on a mini shopping spree to TJMaxx (loved that!).  While we were sitting at lunch, we got a text inviting us to an Eagles game the next  day.

This was my first Eagles game (or professional football game!).   

 It was exciting  to see the stadium actually full of people (remember this gig at Lincoln Financial Field?)!

 We had a blast and it was an Eagles win so that made it even better!

It was fun birthday weekend for sure!

{Travel} Day 10-Venice: Rialto Bridge/Doge's Palace/Gondola Ride

Well, we've made it to our last full day in Italy.

OOTD:

 We started our day with the hotel breakfast buffet.

 We sat outside in this tiny courtyard.

 On our way to the Doge's Palace we crossed the Rialto Bridge.

 We did the audio walking tour and it was so helpful.

 The place is huge and every room is full of amazing pieces.

Some of the rooms were so massive!  We had a great day there.

 After all of that walking and learning it was time for a cappuccino break.

 We walked some more to get this pizza shop that always had a line whenever we walked by.  It was worth it!

One last gelato for our last day in Italy.

We had to try a gondola ride since we were in Venice.

 Looking for a gondola driver.

 We found one!

 Seeing Venice by gondola is definitely a different view and so peaceful.

 This is where they make and fix the gondolas.

The sun was starting to set and it was so beautiful.  

We were so lucky to see Venice before the devastating flooding that recently took place.  It's so sad to see the photos of Venice under water.

 Our last dinner in Italy.

I'd say it was our best trip yet!
