{Travel} Wrapping Up our Trip To Riviera Maya

 We are coming to the end of our trip and I'm wrapping up our last full day and our travel day home.

This was where we did yoga in the mornings.  It's my favorite place to do yoga ever.

We spent a lot of time at the lovely pools.

A lunch that starts out with chips and salsa and a view. (We were back at Palms for lunch).

That night we had dinner at Jade in Generations.    

City Girl 2 was teaching me how to take a photo from a video so you get a good one.  

Our last morning at the resort.  What a place to read a book.

Here was my place to read a book. We were all packed up and had time before our ride to the airport.

I'm going to miss these views.

{Travel} Family Riviera Maya Trip - Day 4

This was Day 4 of our vacation and we were settling into the resort life.

I loved getting up early and walking around the resort with a cup of coffee.

It was so quiet and peaceful.  Some mornings we'd see coatis running around in small groups.  Coatis look like a cross between a monkey, a raccoon and an anteater.

We walked down to the connecting resort, Generations to have breakfast at Palms.

We spent more time at the Casitas Náay Spa to enjoy the hydrotherapy room.  They had a circuit of water therapy to experience, from a hot tub, to a cold plunge. The cold plunge was SO cold and definitely got your heart rate up.  A few seconds was all I could handle but I guess you build up to staying in there longer. I spent some more time in the relaxation room.

When we would go to the pool on the far side of the resort we'd see a lot more iguanas like this big guy.

I spotted this gorgeous bird while I was sitting by the pool.

Dinner was at the Wine Kitchen back at Generations Resort and the resort looked so pretty at night.

There was a balcony running around the restaurant that was great for views and photos.

Another beautiful night in Mexico!

{Travel} Riviera Maya Family Trip - Day 3

 Here we are at Day 3 of our trip... and another cute kitty to make friends with.  She looks very relaxed.

Speaking of relaxed, we had massages booked at the spa in the morning and headed over to the casitas spa after breakfast.

The three 'girls' were getting massages and Mr. Click was checking out the hydrotherapy options at the spa.

The spa was so cool, calm and peaceful.  My massage felt so good and I was so relaxed afterwards.

I spent a lot of time in the spa's relaxation room with some tea and a book. Total bliss!

Later the girls tried the coconut drinks...

...and we spent more time at the pool. I did some reading in our room's pool too.

This year's fiesta was in a different area than last year's.

The kitties were definitely enjoying the traditional show (and food). 

I had a really yummy dessert that was a super thin waffle with peanut butter, bananas and chocolate rolled up in it.  

We went to the martini bar for a night cap and saw the beautiful full moon on our way back.

{Travel} Riviera Maya Family Trip - Day 2

Our first full day in Mexico and we were up bright and early. We grabbed coffee and went for a walk around the property.

They had updated this area with comfy seating and hammocks.

It was fun to see what was new and what we remembered from our last trip.

We met up with the girls and City Girl 2 and I went to yoga while Mr. Click and City Girl 1 went to the gym. 

After our workouts we got ready for breakfast and the day.  This morning we went to the wonderful buffet at Cocotal in the main building.

We did a little exploring around the resort after breakfast.

Then it was time to pick which pool we wanted to spend the day at.  I enjoyed some hammock time with a fruity drink.

We picked a less busy pool and these three got right in. Our floats worked really well and were perfect for lounging in the pool.

We'd spend all morning at the pool until we were ready for lunch.  After lunch we could do activities or just hang out at the pool some more. This day we did a Mezcal tasting. It was very interesting to learn the differences between tequila and mezcal.

We met some more kitty friends.

This was our little pool outside of our room's patio.  I loved hanging out here before dinner (or anytime).

We remembered to take a photo on our way to dinner.

And met another kitty friend! We loved seeing all of the kitties.

We had dinner at D'Italia Villas and I think it was our favorite meal. We celebrated Mr. Click's birthday again which was fun.

We checked out some of the after hours entertainment before calling it a night.
