{Recipe} Cranberry White Chocolate Protein Balls

I'm back with another protein ball recipe!  This time I'm combining white chocolate chips with dried cranberries, which is a favorite cookie combo. I've slightly tweaked my original recipe.
{Recipe}
1/2 cup drippy peanut butter (or nut butter of choice)
1/2 cup protein powder of choice
1/2 cup almond flour
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4-1/3 cup dried cranberries
1/4-1/3 cup white chocolate chips + more for drizzling
To make:
  • Combine peanut butter, protein powder, almond flour and maple syrup in a bowl and stir to combine. (if your nut butter isn't drippy enough, you may need to add some non-dairy milk to the mixture). It should resemble moist cookie dough
  • Add in cranberries and white chocolate chips
  • Roll into balls and place on a parchment lined baking sheet
  • Melt 1/4-1/3 cup of white chocolate in microwave and drizzle on top of balls
  • Freeze until firm
I store mine in the fridge in an airtight container. Enjoy!

Costco with The Visiting Daughter-Going Splitsville

When City Girl 2 was home recently we did a big Costco shop with her to stock both of us up.  I forgot to snap photos during the trip but went back to capture the items we took home (and some things that I didn't).

I always need a lot of sunscreen and this one looked good.
I'm still deciding which flowers I want to plant. I was too indecisive this day.
These went home with CG 2, I will have to get a report from her. She liked that they were no sugar added.
I'm not sure about Butterbeer Popcorn and didn't buy it but I was tempted!  Have you seen the Butterbeer Goldfish?
We both love these crackers and we split the box(it comes with two bags).
I hadn't had Madras Lentils in a long time so it was fun to buy them and split the box with her.  These are still tasty!
We also split the Goodles between us.  We made the shells and they were good!
Mr. Click usually makes homemade spaghetti sauce but we tried the Kirkland Marinara and it's good to have on hand. I like that the jars aren't too huge.
I needed a new protein powder and this is the one I went back to.  I've been making lots of protein balls lately.    Cranberry White Chocolate protein ball recipe coming soon!
This looked interesting and she took home two of the lip oils.  It's more like a glossy lip balm and I like the color "Going Viral" that I got.
I'm back to using this Kirkland Body wash.  I really like the light floral scent.
Mr. Click needed some shampoo and this is the one he uses.
I picked up this skort but returned it because I didn't like the length on me.
Mr.Click likes this turkey for sandwiches.
We tried the Tate's Cookies and they are so good!
I'm also new to trying the Tru Fru strawberries...and I love them!
I also got a second sunscreen and I've been using it on my walks already.
City Girl said this was a really good deal on a product she already uses. I'm liking it too!
I didn't notice "bite sized" on the box but I really liked the larger size with everything seasoning. The sea salt variety is good too but I was surprised at how tiny they are.  Definitely bite sized!

Do you shop at Costco? What are some of your favorite items?

{The Abode} Freshening Up the Stairs - Again!

Another staircase update for ya.
Here's how it started out when we moved in a little over a year ago.
We pulled out the old carpet pieces and replaced them with these more modern and streamlined treads in this post.  At that time we only cleaned up the staircase but didn't get to paint it.  You can see the white risers are quite beat up.
We finally got to paint them last month....by "we" I mean Mr. Click but I was there for moral support. He had to alternate them so we could still use the steps in between drying times.
The treads and the risers were both re-painted and we think the whole staircase looks so much fresher! We're still using (and loving) the carpet treads but this photo was snapped before I put them back on.

Trader Joe's** New** & Different Items!

Instead of my normal Trader Joe's haul, I thought I'd highlight some new items that I found in store.
They had so many options for mac & cheese...this French Onion sounded and looked good.
Cheese Filled Fiocchette in Pink Sauce.
I was excited to see canned lentils!
Green Olive Flats.
This Tortilla Espanol looked delish!
These Cheery Lemon Animal Crackers are a Springtime seasonal treat.
This was the first time I saw this 100% Sicilian Lemon Juice (and it came home with me!).
The Mochi Cake Mix looked interesting.
I tried a new salad kit- The Sweet Chili Mango version.
I always add extra greens and veggies to bulk it up.
I haven't had these in awhile and loving them on salads.
I tried the Coffee Bean Hold The Cone.  They are pretty good.
I also picked up some roses and a basil plant.
I saw a 4 ingredient TJ's recipe that looked super easy so I picked up the ingredients to make it.
It was yummy!
