{Travel} Family Disney Trip 2025 - Days 1-2

My dream of taking a trip to Walt Disney World with all four of us came true!  It had been over 12 years since we'd all been to Disney together (not counting Disneyland Paris in 2015).

Ready for take off!
It was raining when we arrived in Orlando so we didn't go to the pool but we hung out at the hotel and got ready for dinner and the parks. We stayed at the sister hotel to the one where  Mr. Click and I stayed last year.  This time we were at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace. It was also a Disney Springs resort and had the same amenities.

The rain cleared up and we made it to Disney Springs.
I didn't make many dining reservations for this trip but for our first night I secured one at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill.  This place is always so good and we shared a bunch of different things.
After dinner we walked around Disney Springs and checked out the stores.  Our recent grad, City Girl #1 found this cute graduation cap.  We all got our Disney pins for celebrating different things.
Mine was for "having a pin too!". I was just happy to be there!
A beautiful sunset at Disney Springs.
We ended the night with this Dole Whip flight.  They were all good!
We were up bright and early to get to Hollywood Studios for early entry. #soexcited
Walking into Hollywood Studios with my girls.
We went straight to Rise of The Resistance. It was our favorite ride last year and we wanted the girls to experience it too. They loved it.
Getting a selfie at Galaxy's Edge.
This rebel spy (Vi Moradi) was asking if we'd seen Kylo Ren.
A nice lady took this photo for us.
We really liked exploring Galaxy's Edge.
We went on some other rides like Tower of Terror and Rock N' Roller Coaster.
We went to Oga's Cantina because we loved it so much last year.
Cheers!
Found a Darth Maul light saber!
We pre-ordered our lunch from Woody's Lunch Box.  We tried the kids grilled cheese meal...
...and some plant based tochos.   We also tried the lunch box tarts (like homemade pop tarts).  I highly recommend pre-ordering on the app!
We headed back to hotel and spent some time at the pool that afternoon.
We decided to snack and drink around the world at EPCOT that night.

Our first view of "the EPCOT ball".

It's still one of our favorites so of course we had to ride!

Our first snack around the world was nachos from La Cantina de San Angel in Mexico.
We ordered one margarita but ended up with two.
We stopped at Norway to try and recreate this photo.
I think she killed it!
We shared this Dragon Butterfly cocktail from Joy of Tea.  It had blueberry popping boba on the bottom.
We ordered the Stir-Fried Vegetable Noodle Combo from Lotus Blossom Cafe in China.
The Beautiful China pavillion
We had our last snack around the world which was Neapolitan pizza from Pizza al Taglio in Italy.  We were full by this point!
We sampled some vino from Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar...
...and also got an amazing espresso martini over ice from Tutto Gusto.  These came highly recommended from our Oga's Cantina bartender (as did the pizza!).
Leaving EPCOT for the night and heading back to our hotel for another early morning tomorrow.

It looks like you all had a fun time at Disney. I can't wait to hear more about your trip. My daughter went to Epcot a few years ago with her friend and they ate and drank from different places and she loved it!

You guys look great! What wonderful pics of your fun time there. Love the photo recreation!! Did you wait in line dreadfully long to ride the "big"/ popular rides? Did you buy an express pass? Was it crowded? So glad that you got to go with your girls!

That looks like so much more fun going with young adults than with a seven and eight year old! I'm sure you had a blast from all the photos! (And thanks for popping over today!)

Nothing like a family vacation where you can enjoy all the fun and be together. The dole whip desserts look delicious. I like the red and white pants too.
