We had a quiet 4th of July this year but it was still a good one.
There was a small bbq with a few family members. It was a hot one but we stayed outside.
I tried some of this sparkling hard seltzer from Trader Joe's. It's a good one!
We were home early and had a relaxing rest of the day. The moon was gorgeous that night.
We were lucky because our neighbors put on an amazing fireworks show.
We have the best view from our driveway!
It was a perfect ending to our day.
The next day I made rice paper bacon from
this recipe and we had delicious BLT's. How was your 4th?

It's so nice that you were able to see the fireworks Heather! The seltzer looks good too. It was so quiet this year and we had a bbq at home and enjoyed watching the fireworks on tv! Hopefully next year will be better.
We had a small family gathering here at our home. We enjoyed a fire in the evening and sparklers. It was HOT here too.

Sounds like a really nice 4th. We had a small dinner at home, set off our wen fireworks and watched the neighbors too. Some people were still setting them off at 2:00 am! - The sandwich looks good although I'm sticking with real bacon.

Looks like a wonderful Fourth of July. A perfect one.
What a perfect 4th you had. Ours was quite except for the faint distance of a few fire works. We worked around home all weekend so took advantage of that afternoon and rested and grilled out. Just the two of us.
We also celebrated the 4th with a small group of friends.. nothing fancy. We bought the kids some sparklers and they had a blast.
