Labor Day weekend was definitely that for us.
We moved College Girl up to Boston and into her dorm on Friday.
She's in a great building.
And has a fabulous apartment with great views!
The move was fairly easy with the help of moving hampers and elevators.
We had dinner around Fenway that night.
One last breakfast and walk around campus on Saturday before heading home for ....
Move #2
On Sunday morning we repacked the car and drove to Brooklyn to move City Girl into her new place.
This is a quick shot before we started moving her things in.
Her bedroom has some exposed brick, shiny wood floors and a great sunny window. This move was much tougher because she lives up 5 flights of steps and there's no elevator. We got our work out in that day!

Oh wow, you all worked so hard on Labor Day Weekend! I hope everything is going well for both of your girls. The things we do for our kids but so worth it!

Those five-floor hikes will do you in. I used to live in one of those and had to move after I had the first baby. Good luck to your girls on their new adventures.

Both apartments look very nice. Guess what, it is my turn this weekend. Sam is moving into his apartment Friday - Sunday. It is an upper of an 100 year old house. I will take photos and share soon.
The stairs are steep, I think they are servant stairs.. so we will get a work out too.
How are the girls doing?
Sam is enjoying college. He has Drill the first weekend of October. He is happy because he will be moved in to his apartment and the drive to base will not be as far.
Atticus is enjoying his senior year.
