Ireland - Part 3 Adare Village

Here we are in the unbelievably quaint Adare Village in County Limerick, Ireland.  It's just a stone's throw from the Manor and is known as "Ireland's Prettiest Village". You can easily walk to town (or they'll chauffeur you there and back).

oh the flowers!
Seriously...are you dying right now?

this was 70 pounds ago
Enjoying our first pint of Guinness in the local pub.  The pub was so charming. The owner's son had just gotten home from school (in his little shirt and tie uniform) and was sitting behind the bar doing his homework.  All the other pub-goers were so welcoming and engaging, it felt like we were regulars.

We ate dinner here one night and the food was fabulous.  Here's a little write up about it
"Housed in what looks like a large dolls house behind a walled cottage garden, the "Wild Geese" Restaurant is a series of cosy rooms with its open fires and clutter of Victoriana. The tasteful style and emphasis of the use of the best of fresh, local produce, from land and sea, has made this one of Limerick's most sought after eateries." [source]
I called this a leprechaun doorway.
Here's a look at the busier section.  It was nerve wracking to cross the street.
This is the Dunraven Arms Hotel, another nice place to stay in Adare.

off to more site seeing.....
If you missed any of our trip you can catch up here for Part 1 and Part 2.

*Sigh*

Do you know what jealousy tastes like? It's sort of metallic. It's unpleasant.

Seriously though, SO GORGEOUS!!!
