{Photography} Dawn's Headshots

Taking professional headshots has become one of my favorite passions-especially when the client wants a less traditional look to the images.

Dawn is a good friend of the family and I was honored when she asked me to take some new headshots for her.

When she was in town visiting her family we set up a day to take some photos.

The brick background is my favorite. I love the texture and her eyes! Ka-zing!

She was such a good sport. I know it's not the most comfortable thing to do but if you can relax and get into it, we always get better photos.

That's easier said than done but I had a secret weapon to help me. Her cousin was there to make her laugh and smile (and fix any stray hairs!)

When she got the edited images to review, she said it was so hard to pick a favorite. That's a good problem to have.Pin It

Four On Friday

Four on Friday is back!! Here's what I've been...
1) Watching..the foxes in our yard. So cute!

 2) Working on...headshots with this beauty.

 3)Drinking...smoothies with the daughter. Mine was cold brew, banana & cocoa.

 4)Listening to...hubby's band.

This was such a cool venue! Bring on summer!

{Get Thrifty} Thursday

 This was my thrifting haul from a few weeks ago.  I found a couple of clothing items and a few housewares too.

Clothing:

This is what I picked up in housewares.
