Loving Lately....

Happy Friday!  Here are some things I've been loving lately.

 City Girl introduced us to the Package Free Shop in Brooklyn when we were visiting and I found this candle there.  It smells so good1

 Seeing irises in the park on my walk.

 I love when my nails look nice and these are so easy!  I use nail glue with them for extra hold.

 College Girl let me borrow her shirt for May 4th.

Our second round of lilacs have just started to bloom.

Strawberries the size of my head (slight exaggeration!).

This product sounds so cool. Premium instant tea in seconds! Just mix the packets up with hot or warm water (for iced tea, dissolve packet in some warm water then add water and ice).  You can't over steep this tea.

This is a brand I haven't seen before. I like that it's a shelf stable kombucha so it doesn't need refrigeration.  The flavors all sound really yummy too!

{Recipe} 4-Ingredient Vegan Pancakes

I think I've finally found the perfect vegan pancakes that are actually healthy and delicious!  The basic recipe contains just four ingredients and can be customized with optional add-ins.  You can see the original recipe here.

 Ingredients:

1/2 cup of rolled oats (old fashioned kind)

1/2 cup unsweetened non dairy milk

1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

1/2 tsp baking powder

optional add-ins:

cinnamon

vanilla

peanut butter powder

cocoa powder

To make:

Blend ingredients in blender until you have a smooth batter.

Cook pancakes on medium high, flipping after you see lots of bubbles in the batter.  

 I never had much luck with making pancakes until I got my electric griddle.

 Now it cooks perfect pancakes for me.

 I just have to be patient.  This recipe makes 4 small-medium pancakes-perfect for one serving.

 I added some warmed up blueberries and their juice, banana slices, peanut butter, blackberries and hempseeds to the top.

 They were light and fluffy

 And sooooo yummy!

{Get Thrifty} Thursday

I haven't had a {Get  Thrifty} Thursday post since September!  

 I've been trying to clean things out and organize and haven't wanted to bring more stuff into the house. I also haven't been to the thrift stores in awhile but I thought it was time.  I was careful with what I came home with and I'm happy with my haul.

1)Bon Voyage sweatshirt-this is so comfy and it's my aspirational shirt for going on lots of trips!
2) Ralph Lauren rainbow striped sweater
3) Basic black turtleneck in the perfect weight fabric
4)White kimono style top
5) Striped (of course) tank top

 I also found some comfy striped pj pants and a pair of black pants.

 I couldn't resist this little Easter decoration (bunnies in a tree trunk house!).

It fit right in with my Bunny Village.  Have you been thrifting lately?
