I always like getting show recommendations and discovering new shows on Netflix. Here are some of my recent faves.
Tidying Up
I loved Marie Kondo's book, The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up and her new show on Netflix is a satisfying extension of the book. She helps people organize their homes and lives. Her sweet and calm demeanor makes this show such a pleasure to watch.
Derry Girls
My girls recommended this show and I really enjoyed it. Only 6 episodes so it's easily binge-able. Set in Londonderry, Ireland in the 90's, it follows five high school students during the political unrest of the time. It's very funny!
Dumplin'
This was such a feel good movie. I watched it with my daughters over the break. The Dolly Parton soundtrack is so great too, I can't get the songs out of my head!
Stay Here
I watched this show awhile ago but I don't think I've ever shared it. Remember decorating superstar Genevieve Gorder from Trading Spaces and HGTV? Well she's got a new show where she fixes up failing Airbnbs and with the help of a real estate expert. The locations are all pretty amazing and makes the show that much more entertaining.
Bird Box
This movie had a lot of buzz over the holiday break. Did you watch it? I read the book so I was excited to see the movie. It's a psychological thriller but probably not as scary for me since I'd read the book. There are some differences from the book but I still thought it was good and Mr. Click liked it too!
I haven't seen any of these. I just watched the trailer of Dumpling. Oh my mercy! I would love this movie! Hope you New Year is going good for you so far Heather. I am trying to get back into the swing of things. Mercy, these holidays get me so confused. LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
I love the Genevieve and I love anything about fixing up homes so I will have to check that out! We like the bird box too! We are currently watching Ray Donovan and plan on watching the BBC series The Bodyguard. .
I too enjoy watching tiding up. I am sort of Afro watch bird box but know it got a lot of hype. Thanks Heather for sharing all of these shows to watch at or link party. Julie
I can't watch Bird Box. I simply CANNOT! Thanks for sharing these new shows though. I haven't been watching much - unless you count Marvel Movies. Just watched Thor Saturday night.

I don't have Netflix. I'm a Hulu subscriber. I really want to see Bird Box though. I didn't know there was a book too. Will have to read it!
