April was one of those months, where every weekend was jam packed. There was Spring Break and Easter, then visiting College Girl and then it was Oklahoma (and that was only the first three weekends!)
Miss High School had her second high school production (how can that be already?) and performed in Rogers & Hammerstein's musical "Oklahoma".
She did Carousel in the summer so she was well versed in R & H's style: lots of catchy tunes, accents, dancing and a dream ballet.
I could always spot her by her bright pink bow and long, lovely tresses.
She played "Aggie". (Obviously being a hat thief here).
The talent that the kids have always amazes me, it's hard to believe they're only in high school.
They can sing, dance and act!
They worked so hard over 4 months of tough rehearsals but the show was so worth it!
There were five performances over a four days.
Of course, by closing night it feels like it all flew by in a flash and I'm always wishing I could see it just one more time. sigh.
Let's keep in touch!

So awesome! They do put so much work into it, don't they?
That's one of my favorite musicals. Yes, high school kids can put on a great show! I've always enjoyed high school musicals. We even had them when I was in high school in the 1960's.
I enjoy watching high school performances. The kids are always topnotch and professional.
The View from the Top of the Ladder
I have always liked that musical. How special to have a daughter be in such a fun-looking production of it.
