So this week's fun assigment was DOF (or Depth of Field).
I was trying out my new lens at my daughter's party and this was the result.
This one was a total accident/mistake but I like how it turned out. Birthday boy is out of focus but the bottle in the foreground is in focus.
I just really like this one and it makes me hungry for salsa.
I hope I got this right!

These are really great. I think the thing I like about them most is not just the technical dof skill, but that each picture really captures a feeling. Nice work. :)

Love the roses on the table. The offcenter placement of the vase just draws the eye in. Loved it!
