Well, here's what we did. Added a more simple header and changed out the side moldings too.

We also added a coordinating molding over the front door to tie it all together.

That looks WAY better! I have to ask...did you put the previous thing up there? Well, either way, the current look is so classic and looks like it could have been there forever. Nice job!
