I thought I'd show you what else I've done with it all. I showed you how I spray painted these two items here.
I decided this silver urn would be my next victim.
I had a helper this time.
Got my Dollar Store bag of shells...
took the candle out of here and dumped the shells inside.
Put it all together and viola!
One side of the hearth.
I like it in black!
I'm also using the great little Pottery Barn ice bucket
on the other side of the hearth as shiny pot for the ivy topiary, next to the swanky mercury glass tealight holder from anthro.
The corbel is being used as a picture shelf for one of my daughter's pieces of art.
And that bamboo birdcage you ask?
I'm still debating if I should paint it or leave it natural? And what exactly I'm going to do with it. For now it's holding a mix of real and flameless candles, some shells and mini bird nests.

Nice job! It all looks so high end now. So, are you totally hooked on spray paint yet?
Wow wow wow!!! I love all of it. I love what a can of spray paint can do. Thanks for linking to Transform Tuesday. I can't wait to see what you link up next week!!
Looks great! Especially the new candleholder/urn, and I like the lantern loaded up with shells. :) Oh, and that painting that your daughter did is AWESOME! I'm a big fan.

I love all your thrifty finds and your fix ups, too. You have a knack for setting up nice vignettes. Re: the bamboo birdcage...if you don't paint it, seal it with some clear acrylic if you are using it outside. Bamboo mildews in the weather!
What great thrifty finds! I love what you have done with them :)
I'm here from Twice Owned Tuesday @ House of Grace. I've been enjoying your blog and have become a new follower. I invite you to stop and visit my blog as well. Have a great day!

That is so pretty! I put some boxwood in my ice bucket I found from the thrift store but I am really loving how you did yours now.
Wow! You really scored some wonderful treasures! I can't decide which one is my favorite! I love them all, and really love your idea of putting shells in the lantern. And don't you just love spray paint?!
That lantern does look good in black and with the shells...wonderful!
You got some great finds!! I love how your transformed the urn and lantern! I would never have thought to take the candle out and fill with seashells! Loving that idea :)
