Teen Bedroom Redo - Part 2

When we last left off, we had just started the room makeover. Here's our progress up to this point in Part 1.

The paint was on the walls. The color is Benjamin Moore Buttercup and we used their Aura paint which guarantees never more than two coats even when covering dark colors(we were covering some dark stripes).  It would save us the step of primer so it was worth the extra money per gallon.

Loving the color up on the walls. It really brightened up the room while warming it up at the same time.

We removed the closet doors to open up the room so of course it got a coat of a paint too.

The area below the upper cabinets never looked finished so we picked up a piece of molding at Home Depot and cut it to size at the store.

Hubs also painted underneath the cabinets where it had been unfinished wood before.

Adding some trim paint and it now blends in better with the cabinetry and looks finished off.

We also had a ceiling fan installed around the same time (no more floor lamp and unsightly cord to trip over!!)

Her floors needed to be perked up so we tried this product.

They were in pretty bad shape.

It went on easily and dried quickly and we were pretty pleased with the results.
