We need to paint our master bedroom and I'm thinking of going bold with navy. I've pinned some inspiration photos that I like.
What do you think?
It makes me a little nervous but excited too.
I guess that's a good thing and like my husband says, "it's only paint".

I LOVE the first one! Navy is such a soothing color for a bedroom!

Love the navy. We have one wall in my son's room painted navy.
LOVE it! I want to do the same thing in our room. It's the only room in the house (other than the bathrooms) that we haven't tackled yet. I don't know WHY we haven't done it cuz right now it's an ugly salmon color! I've actually started hanging things on the wall already. I'll have to take them down once we start painting, but it sure looks better than it did when it was all piled on the floor!
Do you have any idea just what shade of navy you're going to use?

I say definitely go for it!!!!! I had a bedroom accent wall in my last apartment that was Navy and I LOVED it...and the hubby is correct..it is an easy fix if you don't like it!
@Monica. I'm leaning toward the Benjamin Moore line of historical colors-Hale Navy, Newburyport Blue & Van Deusen Blue.

I loved it! I knew I would never have been brave enough to choose it myself, so I was glad it was already done.

Our bedroom is Denim Blue...I love it. I was not sure if I would like a dark color for our bedroom, but I really do.

I loooove navy for a bedroom. I always wanted to paint a room hale navy, from Benjamin Moore.
Right now, I have a light blue picked out for our bedroom, with a navy accent wall. But I haven't managed to paint it yet. I think it will be a summer project...
Well, you are starting out well because your husband is already good with it, haha! I like the idea of navy walls in a master. I've seen some really cool navy rooms on Pinterest. :) I love the pictures you posted.
