Falling for Fall

I've fallen for fall and the house is finally reflecting all that swooning.
The mantel hasn't changed too much.
I've added some Scrabble tile fall words and a mini chalkboard.
There are also some pumpkins and a wheat sheaf.
And I hung the fall garland below the mantel.
I've used all things that we already owned.
My mom gave me a huge bouquet of hydrangeas for drying.
Aren't they gorgeous?
 I love them on the hearth in this big Longaberger  picnic basket.
 The kitchen has a gotten a few fall tweaks as well.

{Thrifted scale and blue mason jar filled with mini pumpkins}
 My Candy Corn Wreath is still holding up.
{my Anthro dish towel fits right in with the fall colors}
The outside has been fall-ified a bit this week.
A little Instagram magic.
The family room is sporting some orangey hues too.
Mr. Owl is keeping a watchful eye...
over my ever growing cork collection.
Is it almost time for another Wine Cork Wreath?
They fit right in with the earthy fall colors.
So does the 'new' Book Page Pumpkin.  See how easy it is to make one here.

The white mantel with the pops of fall color is awesome! Those hydrangeas are awesome too! I just love those flowers :)

The kitchen is looking great. I love the scale with the pumpkins in the mason jar and the leaves intertwined into the lights.

Of course, I am loving the outside! Outside is just so much fun to decorate for fall. I'm hoping we have a balcony we can decorate in Baton Rouge. Because despite the high temperatures, I'm decking it out in fall themed decorations!

Awesome! I would love to do this, but the rest of my family doesn't really like the whole decorating thing.

Thanks for sharing

Wow, you've done a great job. Everything looks great and I love the mantle.

I've been so frustrated lately as I did some pumpkins last year (mod podged them with cool tissue paper) and I can't find them anyway. It is making me crazy. I have to get more organized.

Again...great job.

Each of your tableaus is more beautiful than the last. I love the cream collection on the mantle, but, my very favorite is the little green pumpkin with the little green letter C block. (Green is my favorite color!)
You have a gorgeous home that is obviously a labor of love.

LOVE the white, and all the subtle touches of soft color are very appealing. Everything has that great, collected over time look. You have such wonderful taste.

And you tried to make me think you didn't do much Fall decorating. Well I didn't fall (ah ha ha ha ha) for that.
