Thrifting Again!

Oh how I've missed you!

All for under $10! I've got plans for my pretties (and even found my book club book in paperback for .47c!)
Mr. Rooster is already sitting behind the stove looking quite handsome.
For now the wooden spool/spindle is in with this grouping next to the fireplace.
Wait till you see what I do with this.

Hi! Stopping by from NFF. I am a fellow thrifter as well! It's a borderline addiction. But that's ok. :)

Love the rooster! I am trying to get around to everyone in the party today!!

I really like your display on the fireplace. I have seen some bloggers with the spools but I've never seen the spools anywhere to buy some!

nice finds! I haven't been thrifting in a while - mostly because I really don't want to deal with three whiny little ones while trying to see if I can get that next big find.
I am a big fan of the spool as well - and interesting way to use it!

I just found your blog...please don't ask me how. I click from one link to another to another and then can't remember where I started. I recognized the book in today's first photo. I just finished reading the Shell Seekers about a week ago. I had read this book many years ago but didn't remember anything about it. I have enjoyed perusing your blog. You have a lot of creative ideas on here. I will have to come back and keep checking things out. Thanks,

HEather that rooster is super cute! I personally never thought that I'd be a rooster person, but I have two in my kitchen right now! What is it about roosters? :D

Hi Heather, you do know what to do with your thrifty finds. The rooster and spindle look great where you placed them. When I find something I love, cheap, I can't wait to find the perfect spot to put them. In my house that can be a puzzlement. HA!

Hugs, Jeanne
