Things Loved Lately

Here's what I've been crushing on lately...
This new cozy rug in our den from Ikea.
Lots of stacked firewood (and snow) though we haven't had much snow.
Trying to improve my at home yoga practice.  I'm doing the Journey Junkie's  7 Day Yoga Body Bootcamp (it's free!).
Homemade minestrone soup (here's a recipe for my Mix and Match Minestrone).
She survived midterms week and we had a day off to go get manicures and have lunch at our favorite vegetarian restaurant.
 My cozy yoga blanket.
This was our wild Saturday night at Target.
My latest read, yes it's YA but I found it on a list of books with shocking plot twists, if you like should enjoy this one too!
Another formal and more flowers (and you can see her manicure).
 Let's Keep In Touch!

So I have never done yoga before, but have really wanted to get into it. But I am afraid to show up to a class when I haven't done it - I don't want to be embarrassed! Haha. This bootcamp sounds like the perfect solution!

We haven't had any snow in my area! I am jealous. I would like to have at least 1 snow day. :)

Your minestrone soup looks soooo good!!

That's so fun that you had a little day date with your daughter. :) Lunch and getting nails done sounds like a fun day to me!

I'm so jealous of your fireplace! We don't have one at our house.

You've been busy lately! Love that new rug! I scored some couch and love-seat covers from IKEA (still in the box - baby steps) and I'm excited to get them on for that face lift! I WANT to do that yoga class - it would be good to feel centered and all "bendy". Love that last shot of her formal and pretty manicure. Lastly, thanks for that yummy soup recipe. We're getting snow/rain/wind so warm soup would be perfect - I think I have everything I need too!

Oh that soup! I am feeling the need to add soup to the menu this week. :-) Jess posted a soup and I saw a Wild Rice Soup on IG!! Your soup is number 3 ... so yep, soup is on the menu this week. :-)

I am checking into your Yoga workout. I do Rodney Yee, I do enjoy how he teaches.

Some memories are made of the cozy things. Especially the outing with Miss Midterms

Never have done yoga but I heard it was awesome for Fibromyalgia, been thinking I would try it for that reason. Your minestrone looks wonderful and I bet it tasted just as good. thanks for sharing.

Ooh, love that rug too! I had a gift card once for one free yoga class. This is crazy I know but the whole time I was trying to do what she said to do I was thinking about the 100 other things I needed to be doing at home. LOL! And I found out it quickly that I had NOT used a lot of those muscles I have in YEARS! Mercy, I need to be doing something for sure. I have gotten lazy in the area of trying to get a little exercise. I used to walk at least 3-4 miles 3 days a week. Then I was so faithful to get in other types of exercise at the local Y but it closed down in our area and the other company that opened up was to rich for my blood. Now I'm just plum lazy! Maybe I will check this video out. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
