Getting Ready for Christmas-Our Tree

We usually get our tree the day after Thanksgiving. It gets us in the holiday spirit and we start decorating the house once the tree arrives.
This year the girls were both busy so we were on our own.  We tried a new tree farm that we passed.
It was a real farm with acres and acres of trees too.
We were greeted by these cuties.
Off to the fields we went...
I love this photo!
Here's the tree he wanted. For size reference, he's 6'2".
 And my favorite....
Mine was the more realistic choice but still huge.  Our only request from the girls was a "fat tree".
Driving home with our tree.
It just made it under our ceiling!
First round of lights, we had to go out and get more.
That night we all decorated the tree (and ate sushi!).  I love when it's done and I can sit back and enjoy the sparkle!!

Let's keep in touch!

What a pretty tree and a fun outing for you too! I am a huge fan of "fat trees" (says the Jewish girl!)

That looks like the perfect tree to me. Naturally what you'd expect from to elves!

Oh wow, it looks like so much fun going out and picking a Christmas tree. We have a fake one but every year I keep saying, next year we will have a real one. Hopefully If I can make more room we will have a real one next year. Thanks for linking up Heather :)
