A thing of beauty and artistry.
This is a fun gift idea that uses sixteen one dollar bills. We used eighteen because it was part of a bat mitzvah gift and the number eighteen symbolizes "chai" or life in the Jewish faith.
It was a little tricky getting started. We followed the instructions on this fabulous blog. I found her instructions the easiest to follow and her photos were a big help with the process.
Once we got the hang of it, the process went quickly.
It would make a fun Sweet 16 gift
or just a creative way to give cash to your favorite tween or teen.
Are you ready to try your hand at one?

I use to do this with gum wrappers way back in the day...when each piece had its own paper around the foil...my daughters do it with starburst wrappers...loving this idea with money...WOOT! thanks
That's and Idea! Blessing Trish
Heather - The bracelet is too cute! I just love your style and your blog. I was awarded the "Versatile Blogger Award" last week, and I'd like to pass it on to you. If you'd like to accept the award, you can find the details here:

this is so much better than just giving the cash (but sometimes that's really what they want, I love the added specialness) I'd love it if you'd add this to my link party over at http://raegunwear.blogspot.com/2011/11/link-party-what-we-wore-and-made_29.html
What a great idea for a gift. I remember making these bracelets with gum wrappers! Happy Seasonal Sunday!
Very cool! My husband makes origami "shirts" and leaves them as part of the tip in the restaurants we frequent.
How clever and you've done a good job showing how to!
