Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

I've done a post every year about Miss High School's musical productions and I love looking back at them and remembering the shows.  This year was her final one and it's bittersweet.
They did the show "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" which is based on the movie from the 80's starring Michael Caine, Glenne Headly and Steve Martin.
The synopsis: Two con men try to settle their rivalry by betting who can swindle a young American heiress out of $50,000 first.  The stage musical premiered in 2004.
My daughter played Muriel Eubanks--a rich ditzy divorcée who is vacationing in the French Riviera.
This is her solo "What Was a Woman To Do".
The women lamenting their lack of luck with men.
The show is full of catchy dance numbers, hilarious (and sometimes naughty) jokes and beautiful songs.

The two con men and the American they're trying to swindle out of $50,000.

Muriel gets swindled by one of the con men but ends up finding love with the chief of police.

I haven't been able to get the songs out of my head (and I don't want to yet!)
I'm usually really sad when we see the final show but this year it felt right. Even my daughter said there was no way she could top this experience and she felt good about it being her last show. Onward and upward!
