What do you do for a 17 year old's birthday party?
We planned it around her favorite show.
the office!
We made up some "nifty gifty" goodie bags (filled with office supplies and chocolate)
I had some fun with the decor. The dining room became the conference room with note pads, pens and Dunder Mifflin water bottles.
We made a sign just like one from an episode
More water bottles (I printed up the labels)
The kitchen was the 'break room'.
Had to have a stapler in Jello.
Some dismal office decor (also pulled from an episode)
The menus(I used American Typewriter font)

One happy girl...

Lots of great ideas! You're very creative! Makes me want to throw an Office-themed party myself.
Wow! I love that show, and I love your party theme. All of the touches were perfect--I especially love the microwave sign--lol!
Oh, so fun. I was waiting for that stapler in jello. It just wouldn't be complete without it! My baby is turning 17 in a few weeks. This looks like a fabulous party. Thanks so much for sharing.
Man, that was one tough theme to work around, but you pulled it off brilliantly!
So....are there any wings left?
Bahahaha! I LOVE the office! I watch it while running on the treadmill, and sometimes have to stop running because I'm laughing so hard! lol
Good job on the office party! I love all the little touches... I imagine it wasn't a very easy theme to pull off!

How fun! We love The Office too. Might be a fun idea for my husbands 50th in a couple of years; probably a new show by then :)_

Hi. I am over 40 hopping and hoping to be over 400 on the CSN Bathroom Voting Contest.
Vote and Validate the email, please. It only takes a few seconds and doesn't cost anything to help. It's for a much needed bathroom repair/makeover.

Ah! I love this so much! Everything is perfect for a 'The Office' party! I love that you printed out the 'pervert' poster - too funny! And of course, the break room microwave. =)
This is the coolest party! I love all the little touches you have from the show - like the stapler in Jello and the microwave sign. I'm sure my office mates are wondering why I just started cracking up!
