{Travel}Back In Brooklyn For Easter

Easter feels like it was ages ago!

We got to spend Easter weekend in Brooklyn with City Girl.

We decided to stay in Brooklyn rather than Manhattan so that we could get to know Brooklyn better.

We met up for lunch at La Goulette in Williamsburg for some yummy Mediterranean Food.

 After lunch she took us to Domino Park (former home of the Domino Sugar factory) along the waterfront.

It was so windy!

We decided to check out the Brooklyn Brewery and they were offering free tours on Saturdays!  We got in line to see the store/bar part of the brewery and lucked out with earlier tickets to the tour since someone was leaving.

 The place is loud and boisterous!

 They serve their beer flights in these wooden crates.  The tour was interesting and more like a quick lecture rather than a walk through tour.

 After that we headed to the Williamsburg Hotel because we were intrigued by their rooftop deck. Can you see why?

You could walk even higher than that up to a little water tower at the very top. The views were amazing!  We had some wine at the bar and went out for Thai food for dinner then walked her back to her apartment.

 In the morning we had some time before we were meeting her for brunch so we went to our hotel's rooftop deck.  The views were pretty amazing from up there too!

 It was such a beautiful morning so we decided to explore our neighborhood.

 We ended up in Fort Greene Park.

 This is the Prison Ship Martyrs Monument.

 We loved walking around Brooklyn!

So much to see, I can't wait to go back!
