Word(ish)Wednesday-How did I get here?

This one just left for a few days on a school retreat.  It's just one of her many "lasts" this year.
Sometimes I can't believe she's a senior and in seven short months will be graduating from high school (not to mention leaving for college in nine months!)
I know this is what is supposed to be happening but sometimes it just hits me...HARD.

P.S. Like her dress? It's a $10 Goodwill find that she shortened herself!

How beautiful she is. I know how hard it is when we have to cut the apron strings.

Oh, totally know how you feel! My daughter graduates this spring as well, and then she is getting married. We had our "last" family holiday this summer. Ever so often, my husband will get us all together because it is the "last" time we will be able to do whatever it is with Sarah.

Hi Heather, I'm visiting from Inspired by Charm. LOVE the dress! She's so pretty in it!

Our oldest son has been home taking online college classes, but is talking about leaving for college - In JANUARY! I'm freaking out a little. Our oldest daughter is a senior this year and will also probably be going away for college next fall. I'm freaking out even more! I just try not to think about it much, or I'd be a wreck all the time!

Thanks for joining in the party Heather!

That is a gorgeous dress and the price can't be beat.

My son will be going to college next year too; but close to home, thank goodness. Don't know if I could take it if he moved away...yet LOL.
