Quarantine Times - What We're Up To

Since we've been self isolating as much as possible for the last few weeks,  here's what we've been up to.
I find meditation so helpful for calming an anxious mind. This particular one from Insight Timer is timely too.  Insight Timer is a free app and you can search  for this immunity boosting meditation if you're interested.
We've done a couple of Zoom happy hours with friends and family.   I've taken some live stream yoga classes from my studio on Zoom too.
My girls have been painting.
We've been  hiking in the park- social distancing of course.
Taking walks after dinner every night  in the neighborhood.
My favorite tree is in bloom right now.
We've got some more daffodils too!
I entertain myself and try to surprise my family.
Love  seeing the forsythia in bloom.
Spending some more time out here in the evenings.
Our first fire of the season on the deck (a little 'champs' too).
Bringing the outside in and appreciating the little things.

I hope you're all safe and well!  xo

I LOVE that photo of the girls taking the evening walk. My boys are close and when they visit they look like that from afar many a time when we get together. They always have so much to catch up on.
Thank you for sharing the flowers.
Lots of hugs,
Carla

I love the smoking toilet! I need to do that one too!
Both girls are home, right? My daughter is downtown at her place with tax season stuff. My middle went back to MN to wrap up school details there. I think he will be back at Easter. Little worried about travel bans... stay healthy!

That is awesome that you are doing the meditation, and seeing family through Zoom. I love the toilet and how nice to have your girls home with you. It's nice to sit on the deck and go in the hot tub and sounds like fun. Great to see your girls are painting. You all seem to have a lot to keep your selves occupied during this time. Have a nice weekend Heather.

Lovely photos Heather. You look as though you are getting quality time in with your family. Love the toilet :) One of my sons is miles away in lockdown and I wish he was home with us but also glad he is safe as he has asthma and 3 of us have to work so at lease we are not risking his health. So glad we can skype him but I do cry in front of him sometimes as I wish he was home with us. Thanks so much for your lovely comments. When I get home from work ( I really do not want to be at work at the minute but I work in a supermarket) They make me smile :)

What a fun post! I love the pictures of plants and trees flowering and your backyard looks like the perfect refuge with a hot tub and fire pit. Your toilet picture is just the best - you're very creative! Good for you for working out online. I'm the worst at that. I go speedwalking for a couple of miles but that's pretty much all I've done since the gym closed down (and I have exercise equipment at home!). Thanks for sharing your activities and, yes, it's hard to believe that this is week 3.

It's great that we are having such lovely weather right now and can take walks and hikes. The blooming flowers and sun shine help brighten things up.
