{The Abode} Christmas Home Tour 2018

Happy Monday! Welcome to my holiday home tour.  Grab a cup of cocoa and come on in!
Here's our front door with our fresh Costco wreath (they are the best!) and my DIY Ballard Designs Inspired Holiday Door Tags.
At our other front door, I have this cute Gnome Sweet Gnome doormat (new this year from Nordstrom Rack).
Our front porch.
The second front door with my Ornament & Yarn Ball Wreath.
I added some red touches to the porch and fresh some cut greenery.
I moved our Disney tree up to the den from the basement so we could enjoy it and see it more frequently.
I pulled out the baby sled from the attic and displayed our favorite Christmas books in it along with Molly Moose.
The Christmas village and snow family.
Looking into the kitchen from the den.
 Our family room tree.
The family room tree is our only live tree.  I've been going a little crazy with holiday pillow covers this season.   I can't stop! #wontstop
The hearth gets more plaid with these vintage Skotch Coolers and and red woolen stockings.
The foyer tree is decorated in all snow related ornaments with some glittery accents.
We got a new white tree in the living room this year because our old one had turned very yellow.  I decorate that with blue ornaments mostly.
View from the staircase.
We found this star made out of broomsticks on a recent weekend trip.  A string of lights makes it sparkle and my little vintage snow people flank it sweetly. I should mention that almost all of our light displays are on timers and it makes life so much easier!
I like adding some Christmas cozy to the bedrooms.   We each have our own tree too! This one has just colored lights.
Some fun pillow covers, a fuzzy plaid scarf and a wreath make the bed extra cozy.
College Girl's bed got a few Christmas pillows and a throw.
And so did City's Girl's room. They are all ready for the girls to get home!
Back down to the family room, I have our nutcrackers and a little Elf word art.
The wrapped presents are starting to look festive!
My Starbucks Cup Angels  are still singing on the piano in the living room.

In the kitchen I added this little tray (also found on our weekend getaway).

Some more kitchen holiday decor.   I found that little box with the truck at Dollar Tree!
This is a garland that I found while shopping at Flying Tiger in Ireland.  I think it's perfect above the microwave!
I'm rethinking the decor in the dining room so I've gotten rid of most of it but I've kept a few things up. There's a wreath on the mirror between the windows that is usually lit up.
 More presents!
 Santa is checking his list!
If you're still here after the photo deluge, thank you for sticking with it and I hope you enjoyed our holiday home tour!

Such a beautiful, festive home you have! Thanks for sharing it here. I gave up the live trees a few years back when I noticed my allergies were worse every December. :) But I still love seeing them in other people's homes.

p.s. Love the baby sled!!! I bring all our Christmas books out as well. The boys loved a truck book when they were little, I still bring it out every Christmas. The story was following a truck from forest to city with a load of Christmas trees.

Merry Christmas,
