College Drop Off-More Real This Time

Miss High School was off to a summer pre college program last month.  Last summer she did a one week program, this year it was four weeks! Away from home! In the city!
The car was pretty full this time around, just enough room for her in the back seat.
The view from her dorm room was not too shabby!  She's home now and had the time of her life. We missed her so much and got a taste of what it will be like when she goes off to college for real next year.  Until then, I'm going to enjoy her senior year!

Deep breaths! Deep breaths! My middle leaves the end of this month. My younger son is excited and scared to have just he and his parents. Will try not to hover! ha!

PS Hope this comment works. I updated my blogger settings. laura

Enjoy every moment Heather. Time waits on no one. I can remember all three of my girls senior year. I urged them to do everything they could and that would be meaningful for them as I knew that time would end way too soon for them. Now, all three are married with children of their own.
Hugs and blessings, Cindy

We both will be soaking in our last year together.

I am glad Miss High School had a fun time. I love that first photo. ;-)

She has a great view, for sure! We just moved our youngest into her own apartment, so I know how you feel. It's both exciting and sad. New adventures to come!

Oh boy! Last night Andrew had a bunch of friends over. He leaves in like 20 days. I was sitting on the porch with tears in my eyes wondering how the time to fly the coop is already here. And Alex got his senior year schedule the day before and we're registering for college open houses. Lots of change going on! Hope Miss High School has a great senior year!

Guessing as excited as you are for her that you didn't like the empty nest thing that much for those four weeks?
