Graduation Weekend

She did it!!  She is a college graduate!! A moment of silence, please.... :)  There was quite a lot of pomp and circumstance which is to be expected at a momentous occasion like this, but we also had a lot of fun.  We knew this would be our last visit, so we tried to soak it all up and enjoy a lot of our favorite things.
Some highlights of our weekend in Iphone photos.
On the way up.
 Beautiful day in NY state.
 2016 tassel (feeling real!).
One of the lounges on campus.
 Hanging out at the hotel.
 Dinner at a favorite spot.
 Fancy firepit
Convocation speaker, James Franco (he was really good!). It wasn't raining but the sun was so hot, people were popping their umbrellas.
I waited four years to try the sangria here!
Taking photos on campus in her cap and gown.
Her glittery cap really sparkled in the sunlight.
Sisters!
 Graduation Day!
It rained for a little while but we had our umbrellas.
Amusing myself with the camera.
Onto the second part of graduation, the individual college graduations.

Getting a wave after she got her diploma.  What a weekend!
And...she's home!

Let's keep in touch!

Big news. Congratulations. Worthy of a few sangrias. What now that she's home? They used to say once they leave for uni they've left for good. Not these days. Miss 21 is back home with me and with so much extra stuff.

Knowing how much you and I like the office, the main thing running through my head reading this entry is thinking about your daughter going around saying, "Yeah, I went to Cornell. Ever heard of it?" Like Andy.
But really, congratulations to your daughter!! Such an accomplishment!
