Scavenger Hunt Sunday 4.29.12

I'm late, very late but I really wanted to participate (there I go rhyming again!) in this week's prompts.
My daughter's prom dress, we jokingly called it highlighter yellow.
{and the back}
2. Something That Makes You Smile
If this isn't smile worthy, what is?
Same daughter with her future prom date.
They've been family friends forever.  They looked so cute then and...

3. Antique/Ancient
I know I just used for my Savannah post but the Cathedral of St John The Baptist
is really old and perfectly ancient.  It became a cathedral in 1850 so I think that qualifies as antique.
4. Splash
I think these couples made quite a splash at prom!
5. In The Sun
Loving the sun flare I got on this shot.

The older your daughters get, the more beautiful they become. And have you looked at how refined the artistry of your photography has become?

I love that you have a photo of your daughter and her date when they were little, and then at prom!

Everyone looks great all dressed up!

And that cathedral is gorgeous! I love cathedrals. I want to take a picture of the one we go to in Chicago, but we are only ever there for mass, and AJ got all freaked out when I tried to take one last time! We should just get there early one day :)

You set is great. I loved that you used the Prom for most of the prompts. The Yellow Dress was very pretty and so is your daughter.
I loved the Before/After Shots of her and her Date for Something That makes you smile.
Oh and that Cathedral was amazing.

Your post was precious! I am in the memory mode because my youngest son graduates in 12 days from high school! Your daughter and her friend are delightful as kids and young adults! Thanks for the sweet share. :)

Your daughter is gorgeous! And I think that is really more like buttercup yellow!

I suspect she could wear anything and look amazing, though, since she takes after her pretty Momma!

This was such a happy post!

Your family is lovely!

Thank you for letting us visit!
