Disney - Day 1 Aloha!

Just landed at the airport and all Tinked out (thanks to her cousin). Had a "magical moment" waiting in line for Disney's Magical Express. A cast member noticed all her Tink-wear and presented her with a Cast Member's exclusive Tinkerbelle Pin!

Checked in at what she describes as "our second home", the lovely and tropical Polynesian Resort. Can you say lush paradise? And BONUS, our room was ready!!
Got settled in, put bathing suits on and went right down to the pool and to grab some lunch at Captain Cook's where their noodle bowl is a must have.  I know Disney can get a bad rap for it's food but this is a little bowl of heaven: freshly made, perfectly seasoned noodles, bright, crunchy veggies, yummy with or without chicken and topped with crispy Chinese noodles. Try it and all it's hot, steamy goodness!!
The weather was absolutely perfect, warm and sunny with a nice breeze..very welcome after all the rain we got at home before we left. We headed out the Magic Kingdom that evening. No, I don't know what they were looking at but I thought they looked cute!
First monorail ride of the trip!
MK was very crowded and crazy busy!! After going on Haunted Mansion, we headed over to Tony's Town Square (home of Lady and The Tramp) for our dinner. We were fading fast and starving! We somehow made it through dinner without falling asleep at the table.
Got to bed early, we had Early Entry Extra Magic Hour to beat the crowds in the morning!!
 To be continued...

Tony's Town Square is the ONLY Italian eatery worth its salt on the entire complex! Good job finding it!

We've been 20 or more times ourselves, so I was looking forward to reading details of your experience.
